New Firefly 8se

new video test of a zoom from 12x to 24x. the shadowing is now gone. if you get this issue. it has been determined that its due to the scope not being optically centered. scope crosshairs need to be a close to the center of adjustment range as possible. Or at least not severely low. some of use run our setups so that we can gain as much up elevation as possible. this causes the shadowing to come into play when zoomed way in. we're working to get this issue corrected so it becomes a non-issue,

Experiencing the same problem. Using a Blackhound 6 x 24, FX adjustable rings. I purposely zeroed the scope so I had the most available room to dial for distance. I may need to rezero the scope as close to center within the turret adjustment as possible.

that's what corrected some of the issue with my element helix SFP. I had to re-center and re-sight-in the scope. the video quality increased. but now there is an eye relief issue when zoomed way in to 24x. I get circle shadowing when looking through the scope.

That's why some scopes can't go to max magnification even if they offer it. The Helix might be one of those. I don't own one but I have the Titan and I tested it yesterday and was clear all the way.

I'll have to order a Helix one day, but just keep that in mind, cheap scopes pushed to the limit can result in suboptimal results

I have them in stock and typically you receive the camera in less than 4 days.

I also have extra batteries, cases, latches, and soon to arrive, double slot chargers.

That's great news Haji, I hate waiting for a shipment from china. How good are you getting one to connect to a Iphone with the app?

Jking

Ok I just enabled the wifi on the camera, connected to it with my iphone, installed the FIREFLY CAMERAS app, enable location services on the phone and I have full control of the camera as well as a video stream to my Iphone.

What do you need to know my friend?

Haji, so sorry that I just saw you gracious reply.

The bad part is is that I have downloaded all this time from the camera to the Iphone (just short clips) but after not using it for quite a while I'm not having any luck at all. Ok, lets start with the camera settings. Right now I have the WiFi Auto Start ON, WiFi -On. The display on the camera also has the Green signal lit up. As far as the Wifi on the IPhone, are you connected to the FireFly_8SE_605959 which I am currently but for some reason it seems like I had our household WiFi connected before?

Now when I go into the App and hit connect I get the message "please go into system settings to open WiFi". Still no change though.
