My wife has started drinking these mini cokes so I decided to start plinking holes in them. I have had a great morning and thought I would share. The bottoms are especially fun to shoot.
I shoot a ton of aluminum cans as well. I dont like the small ones as much, though. They have thin skin like paper almost. I like trying to see if I can get the larger ones to actually catch the pellet on the top or bottom edge. If you hit it just right, it will. And at the right FPS. Makes a very satisfying crunch and goes launching across the range
fill them with water. you can only shoot them once, but they explode. also, small plastic vitamin/painkiller bottles work nice. fill them with water and replace the cap. they jump high when hit!
here's a video of a can of soda being shot after shaking it up...
Honeycomb cereal makes a nice reactive target - great for a snack as well LOL!
I like to set up a "clothesline" between two trees with a couple of strings with bent out paper-clips tied to it to hang the Honeycomb on. They move around nicely in a breeze, explode when hit and the critters clean up afterward.
