New extended ARCA rail for FX Impact from pr-s

Just for info or for who is interested:

There is a new extended ARCA rail for the FX Impact available with some nice features included šŸ˜ŽĀ It is from the UK company called Precision Rifle Systems.

It is quite similar to the Saber version at first glance but there are some added features which sets it apart:

  • The edges of the ARCA rail are nicely rounded for improved sliding in the clamps when not fully tightenedšŸ‘Œ
  • two MLOK slots included in the rail
  • barricade stop included which can be placed in two positions (the forward position has a 50mm clearance to be able to put a tripod clamp behind it)
  • Front picatinny rail is detacheable and can be replaced with other parts (I understood these partsĀ will be available somewhere in the near future)
  • and a dust cover included for the fill port
  • Rubber protection button inbetween the rail and bottle
  • Enough clearance for the middle finger to comfortably use it with a Ergo TDX0 grip (hadĀ my Saber rail milled down to have a better fit with this grip)

I've been using this rail for little over two weeks now and really like it! At first I didn't know if the detachable picatinny rail would bend or move while a bipod is attached but this is absolutely not the caseĀ šŸ˜ All in all a great piece of gear! Thought I'll add a picture of it in use on a tripodĀ šŸ˜‰

I agree. Iā€™ve used Kraford and Lypt since I first got an Impact,Ā Stephen the owner has been very generous to me over the past few years.Ā I really do like his products but still always have my eye out for cool new products. The PRS stuff looks so well made and also well thought out. I like when there are 3-4 companies making similar products. Competition drives innovation and hopefully lowers prices. We Impact owners are pretty lucky that we have so many cool products to choose from these days.Ā Have a good one bud!

Looks great. What Iā€™m trying to find is a great, top quality rail extender like that, but whichĀ is half as long and Picatinny only. Saber, K&L and PRS donā€™t offer that, but what I have seen, most Impact owners want a shorter rail, Picatinny only.

Any ideas where I canĀ sourceĀ a top quality shorter rail?

Saber is working on one for the Impact short version, I think that as soon as it's released it should be the right size you're looking for.

Edit: just read the picatinny only, saber is with ARCA and last piece picatinny

I use one of these on my Impact and its made a WorldĀ of difference , I could not stand using the gun before with the standard Bipod attachment , I am used to having it in the right place as it were . once I fittedĀ this , The gun came into its own . I added the buttĀ pad to make the gun fit me even better and now its bang on . I love this equipment and use on my TM1000Ā for myĀ HFT set up that I shot the World's with , most of Team use this PRS stuff for there Target guns and the great thing is that its brilliant for bench rest and hunting alike .Ā 



Best on the market if you ask meĀ
