New Daystate rifle??

ARWith a side lever I hope!:)

YES! Good one. They have the platform already. I believe the pulsar is wolverine based and its a side lever. It has that indexing pin that the wolverine block has. It makes the most sense tho that its an electronic wolverine. I just hope that if it is.....the .25 is not a rebarreled .22.......that is to say it needs to be at least 50ft lb in .25

"Marksman3006"If its a electronic wolverine I think I might spring for a .177 caliber. I have been wanting a sub 12 ft lb .177. I had a pulsar. The power output was adjustable from 36, 30, and 20 ft lbs. Maybe a .177 would have a really low setting. Getting into pesting for some farmers and a low power option would be nice around barns, sheds, etc.
Just throwing this out there, but if you only need 12 FPE in .177, why not try a nice springer? This is in the sweet spot of springers; it's easy to make an accurate one that isn't too hold-sensitive or heavy. (Beeman R9)

ARWhat would be the advantage/disadvantage of electronic wolverine vs the airwolf?

Having owned a pulsar....and now a wolverine hilite.....the self indexing magazine is awesome. Never have to worry about double loading a pellet. It just works flawlessly. Second, and quite insignificant unless talking high power applications, the breech block on the wolverine is massive/robust. The barrel mount in the breech has alot of surface area. I have about 1500 rounds thru my wolverine with no poi shift whatsoever. Last week I went walking and plinking where I hunt out back. I carried the rifle with the scope.....like a handle in between the sportsmatch mounts just to see if it would shift. Didnt phase it one bit. Not making a habit of carrying it like that, I was just curious. I have had the action off the stock 2 times to make trigger adjustments, both times I mounted the action back in stock with no poi shift. My turrets have remained locked on my scope since I sighted it in.

That is exactly what I have been thinking....and most likely what I will do. Im still going to wait and see tho.

scraneBetter than a Daystate. A rebadged Ataman.

Disappointing. I will reserve judgement until all the details are revealed. Going off what little I know right now......... disappointed. What kind of message are they trying to send? I might as well go straight to the source and just start buying Ataman rifles. I need to do more research on Ataman rifles.........
