New Daystate magazine loading

when they become available in the uk I shall make the purchase, hopefully some reviews will come soon of the mags along with availability to purchase. hopefully this revision will cure a lot of peoples problems with them. I think its mainly the high Fpe rifles that suffer the most I have seen. I do like the look and loading of the new mag's, cant wait to try one.

I just received a Daystate Pulsar HP .177 from AOA. When I called to inquire about the magazine/pellet probe issue I was told that if I ordered by phone then I would receive the new style magazines for the same price as the old style but if I ordered online I would receive the old style magazines. After researching the issue I decided I would order online and could possibly modify the mags to eliminate the damage and hopefully retain the anti double load feature. In the end it didn't matter because I received new style magazines even though I ordered online. Not terribly important but might be of interest to some. The anti double load feature did seem like a good idea.

So this was my adventure boys and girls the the Mag actuator pin in my 22 wolverine Hp broke into 3 pieces inside the bore for it in the breach housing secondary to my Mag no longer indexing.

My vendor helped me get a new inert actuator pin from AOA with out cost since i have only had the gun for a year. I have a carm Mag that works well so saw no need pick up a new actuator and see it get bashed up as well. But a email I had linked to me from Jared at AOA said I should reuse the old spring ......Sigh that thing is not going to fit in there now, the new inert pin and it's oring is filling that bore up to where the bracket will come down on top of it. So i did not put it back in. Dry fired gun seem to be ok but will need to chrony it and see if i have a power loss issue.

Also you will notice in the pic showing the left side of the pellet probe (when its in the closed position) it has that Nick in it from getting hit by the indexing mechanism in the original mags yes its happening in the wolverines hps as well.

Getting back to the original actuator pins, is this happening mostly to high powered guns ?

It would sort of make sense, is that pin hitting the mag index mechanism HARDER than a LP sub 16fp gun?

every one have a good day

Scotty
