New Daystate DELTA WOLF is HERE!

Am I the only one not super keen on electronics & $3000 price range? Fancy electronics fizzling out means sending in for repairs. I guess the the ability to tune is neat but I'm not into hooking it up to a laptop or yikes even worse to yet, a cell phone. Probably just me, but I like guns, hunting and playing outside to get away from that crap. At $3000, I'm guessing this isn't really a field gun. Hopefully it does well and the tech trickles down. Very cool to see a new model too. I do like Daystate but I have too many hobbies to drop this kind of money on a single gun...for now. HA

Probably not the only one, but in the minority I would bet. I've yet to read a thread of the electronics "fizzling" in any of the current Daystate guns. I'm not worried about solar flares or the big EMP storm making my gun useless. I'm not worried about the electronics and dampness as they will be sealed. I'm not worried about batteries as I can pick them up on Hobby King for $10 a pop. A high quality lipo charger can be had for $50. Bluetooth connectivity and software to manage the rifle with a "Default Reset" option for when you do screw it up would just be icing on the cake for me - but hey I've worked in IT for 20+ years so I'm a techie.

I think the idea behind the daily photo dribble was to build some hype and excitement over the release of this rifle. It's annoying as heck. That being said, I'm still looking forward to it but I would hope they make a more mature decision if they are ever put in this position again.

Yeah and why they aren't being released by Daystate? Strange.

My bronze colored Athlon ETR might match that Dwolf color pretty good.

For all that is good and right, I hope Daystate got the Chrono thing working reliably!

Darn, I wish they had put a true Anschutz 1827F style biathlon bolt lever feature on this rifle.

Well I'm sure it'll be a super nice rifle and hopefully much more reliable as far as things screwing up than my FX Impact "WAS".
