New Crown Continuum leaking from transfer port.

Yep, my rifle finally showed up. My dog seems a bit wary, though 😂 I don't blame her. It's a bit ludicrous. Also, my scope mounts and slug liner havnt shown up yet. So, I've got a shotgun scope on it 😅

Jokes aside, I'm having a bit of a pressure issue when shooting with the TP set on low. It's fine when set on .177/.22 or .25/.30. The problem is pretty obvious. The hole for the low setting is ridiculously small. So, I imagine it creates a nice high pressure zone in the system. The o-rings seem like they could fit more snug. The rotating assembly and seals were packed with silicone grease, but it was blowing out the side under the dial. It shot fine for a little while. But no more. Anyone having this issue?

I had an issue with my Continuum. I only shot maybe 30 pellets through it and then it started leaking really bad through the transfer port. At first I thought maybe it was the valve spring might have been stuck. I checked the valve housing and found that my valve seat o'ring was shredded in some places. I'm waiting for the o'rings to come in to fix it.

How about calling FX in NC or your dealer I’d be interested in finding out if they are of any help . Doesn’t the new FX products come with a 3 year warranty and if you want to keep the warranty don’t try to do a self repair that could jeopardize the warranty.

I'll be honest. If I can't fix it myself, I don't want it. Warrantee or not. I could care less. I could be shooting myself in the foot, but I'm willing to play that game. I plan to take the whole damn thing apart anyhow and modify/create several existing/new components, anyhow. Seeing as they pulled their mods off the shelves. **** it.

Hey Long,

I was looking through the FX crown master class disassembly youtube video and happen to hear what you're speaking about at about 14:50 on the video. The leaking when it's on low. The continuums have a different setup for changing the transfer port size, but has the same concept of an inner barrel and outer one with o'rings to seal. Send an email to FX USA and let them know what's up, they are pretty responsive and probably will send you some free o'rings to change the ones you have. I got mine back working, and will check tomorrow if I see anything like you seeing when I change mine too low.

I forgot to add that there are two more o'rings on the inner barrel. You can take that inner barrel off by unscrewing the star screw on the opposite side of the action. When you go to put it back in there is a notch at the bottom of the barrel that lines up with the inside of the block.
