Yep, my rifle finally showed up.  My dog seems a bit wary, though 😂  I don't blame her.  It's a bit ludicrous.   Also, my scope mounts and slug liner havnt shown up yet.  So, I've got a shotgun scope on it 😅

Jokes aside, I'm having a bit of a pressure issue when shooting with the TP set on low.  It's fine when set on .177/.22 or .25/.30.  The problem is pretty obvious.  The hole for the low setting is ridiculously small.  So, I imagine it creates a nice high pressure zone in the system.  The o-rings seem like they could fit more snug.  The rotating assembly and seals were packed with silicone grease, but it was blowing out the side under the dial.  It shot fine for a little while.  But no more.   Anyone having this issue?

It make me wonder if dealers even check guns before shipping I think some of them are too busy to take care of all sales as I would like them to.

I'm sure they did.  But it took a good bit of shooting with it on low to get it to leak.  I don't know how many people are even going to want to shoot it on low.  I honestly think I'ts just an issue of the o-rings not being quite wide enough.  Or the seat being too deep.

That barrel is so hilariously long.

It's not too bad without the moderator.  I've got a couple that are much shorter.  I just threw that one on cause it looked ridiculous. 😂

You ain’t kidding, I would need to think twice about the 700mm myself and I don’t mind very long guns.  Would need to show a big improvement over the 600mm in order for me to get one lol

Dang is that an 800mm or 900mm barrel? Way too long for my need. I guess some folks like it big and long. Size isnt the most important, it's how you use it.

Without the LDC it’s a nice looking rifle. With the LDC, it is a little crazy. Lol. FX attempting to make the crown into something it was not designed to do. I say leave the slug shooting to the impacts.

I like it like this much better.  Would be even nicer without the crappy scope 😂  So, I did order is some orings that are .2mm larger cross section.  Same material and hardness as original.  I'd have ordered  .1 mm larger, but couldn't find any.

FYI, I've already measured 47 fpe in 22 caliber having only set the hammer on max.  Reg. Is still at factory 130 bar.

I had an issue with my Continuum. I only shot maybe 30 pellets through it and then it started leaking really bad through the transfer port. At first I thought maybe it was the valve spring might have been stuck. I checked the valve housing and found that my valve seat o'ring was shredded in some places. I'm waiting for the o'rings to come in to fix it.

Damn, that doesn't sound good.  Think maybe the port didn't get deburred?  I've shot mine a lot and it still works fine on high power

I think it was just a bad valve seat o'ring or it got nicked up when it was put in.

Is it a constant leak or just when fired?  Mine just make a little, loud pop when it's turned to low.

Did you use the low TP with max HST ?

It was a constant leak. Something popped, and air just drained from the bottle through the rifle. It was a pretty big leak. Drained the bottle In about a minute or so.

How about calling FX in NC or your dealer I’d be interested in finding out if they are of any help . Doesn’t the new FX products come with a 3 year warranty and if you want to keep the warranty don’t try to do a self repair that could jeopardize the warranty.

OH, damn, yeah, that'd have to be by the valve.

I'll be honest.  If I can't fix it myself, I don't want it.  Warrantee or not.  I could care less.  I could be shooting myself in the foot, but I'm willing to play that game.  I plan to take the whole damn thing apart anyhow and modify/create several existing/new components, anyhow.  Seeing as they pulled their mods off the shelves.  Fuck it.

    Hey Long,

I was looking through the FX crown master class disassembly youtube video and happen to hear what you're speaking about at about 14:50 on the video. The leaking when it's on low. The continuums have a different setup for changing the transfer port size, but has the same concept of an inner barrel and outer one with o'rings to seal. Send an email to FX USA and let them know what's up, they are pretty responsive and probably will send you some free o'rings to change the ones you have. I got mine back working, and will check tomorrow if I see anything like you seeing when I change mine too low.

I forgot to add that there are two more o'rings on the inner barrel. You can take that inner barrel off by unscrewing the star screw on the opposite side of the action. When you go to put it back in there is a notch at the bottom of the barrel that lines up with the inside of the block.
