New Chinese compressors

They are Chinese copies of the Coltri MCH6. They've been around several years. At only 20% less than the real MCH6's, I don't see the value, but that's my opinion. I'm also starting to see Chinese copies of the Bauer Jr. II priced in the $2500 to $3000 range. I'd rather buy a genuine "used" Bauer for that price than a new Chinese copy. I'd be questioning service availability, parts availability, and the metallurgy and tolerances of the copycat compressors. A cubic zirconium at 80% of the cost of a diamond does not make sense to me. JMHO.

At only a 20% savings buy the real one and avoid the clone especially if your talking a few thousand.

A 40$ clone vs a 300$ orginal try the clone but when your talking 2500$ vs 3000$ buy the real deal for sure.

Agreed, please do not jump on the Chinease copy. For the difference in price you'll be money ahead going for the original.

My nephew was a QC engineer for Spaulding. He speaks Mandarin and spent many years back and forth. He said that in China you could find any level of engineering quality you are willing to pay for. On one side of the street they're using files and hacksaws and on the other 7 axis machining centers.

The genuine Coltri MCH6 is currently selling for the same price as the DAVV on Ebay. The DAVV has free shipping and I'm not sure about sales tax which makes the Coltri cost a bit more. The Coltri has B&M dealers in the US and parts. Who knows about DAVV.
