New chap checking in

Greetings,

Been an air gunner for years, but never been much into the wider social scene. Did some Hunter Field Trials at club level many years ago, but these days it's the stress relief that a couple of monthly sessions down the range, and time spent in my improvised garden range that keep me going.

I don't to Twitbook or the like and never done a forum until now, so this online social side is new to me. I chose this forum after a bit of browsing as the chilled and friendly atmosphere was appealing, and the international nature of the membership is fascinating.

I'm not wealthy, being retired early through injury and surviving on an occupational pension, so a lot of my stuff is home made, such as targets, rifle rests etc. I have 2 x springers, .176 and .22 at sub FAC power, and 2 pistols. With time I hope to acquire more.

So greetings to all. and thanks for having me.

Many thanks,

Rich.

Glad to see you here Clancy. You'll find many good people here who live and breath airguns with lots of knowledge and are willing to share and be helpful with anything pertaining to airguns. Half the people in this forum are incredibly intelligent, but the other half are below average. It's a little like taking your car to a mechanic to have your brakes fixed … unfortunately the mechanic doesn't know how to fix your brakes so he makes your horn louder. Obviously not many people here like me, in fact not many people anywhere like me … but I DID almost have a psychic girlfriend once, but she left me before we met.

Seriously though, I think you'll fit in quite well here, especially if you learn how to read, speak and write Chinese as we have all found out recently!!!!!!!!!!!

Love, Live & Laugh

It's a short pony ride

John
