New Aztec 3-18

Just got this scope. Put it on my Gen I 25 Wildcat and took to the range. Sighted in very easily, although I need to get some adjustable mounts for this gun as I had to adjust two full revolutions to zero at 50 yards. The turrets lock too easily and if you aren't careful while adjusting you can put enough down force to lock them. One more thing to get used to. The glass is clear. All-in-all, I like the scope. The only thing I can find wrong with it, at 200 yards the parallax adjustment leaves the target a little fuzzy. It is crystal clear out to 100 yards. Don't know if this is normal for this scope, or it I need to send it back. Your thoughts? At any rate, the dial on the parallax wheel does not correlate with the actual range.

One last thing, this is a great scope for the bench, if you Are using white targets. The thin reticle is very hard to see against a black target such as Splatterburst. I am wondering how the reticle will do hunting. While I drop love the very thin reticel it is hard to focus on when aiming at dark targets.
