ATP bullets are manufactured by using the unique patent-pending lead turning technology on a precision CNC machine that Altaros has developed first in the world. The bullets produced by this technology have very precise dimensions resulting in almost zero weight difference with excellent axial symmetry. That can't be achieved by any other method currently used. ATP bullets achieve a high ballistic coefficient of BC 0.15, which is the highest on the market. These key features predetermine ATP to achieve maximum accuracy and stability when shooting at tens or hundreds of meters.

We offer the Sample Pack of ATP bullets for new users. This is used to determine the appropriate diameter of the projectile that best suits their airgun. The set includes three types of rounds of diameters: 5.50 mm (.2165), 5.49 mm (.2161), and 5.48 mm (.2157).

WOW these look like My slugs I have been using . I cant wait to test them in my guns . These pics are from 2 yrs ago , Ive had BC of .141 to .150 depending on caliber and weights with guns I tested ,I have to say My slugs are perfected to my barrels , I use them with , and My 22 is sub moa and can group as far as I can shoot them here which is in the 250 yd range in 4 og my pcps I shoot them accurately from low speeds 600fps all the way up to 1065fps , and they are one of the most accurate slugs I use so far ,I prefer solid slugs to all the hollow points being sold , I wish vendors would make a line of solid slugs for us , I bet they will shoot great , and the idea of the bands is good as you can make the body of the slug a bit smaller and the 2 rings will seal the slug to the bore and bite in to the rifling to get proper spin , so in essence you can use it in many slightly different bore sizes and it should chamber much easier then a solid od on the slug .

They look remarkably similar to the MP-Molds air rifle slugs that Gregor designed. Is this merely coincidence? Hmmmmm.

Are you going to make them in 6.35mm?

My understanding was that Gregor based that mould design off the Huben slugs. This was necessary because the Huben slugs were quite expensive and were largely unavailable, and at the time for various reasons they were one of very few things that shot well out of the Huben. The design itself is good, but certainly far from revolutionary, carrying a handful of well-proven technologies namely land riding bands, a gas-seal band, a round nose, and a boat tail. I don't see any reason why copying this would be a bad thing, however it strikes me one could very easily arrive at this design entirely independently as well as the features are widely known and they solve several problems with slugs quite nicely. I certainly hope either the slug design of FX's barrels advance to the point where these are cross-compatible, as we're finally getting into the really "interesting" realm of slugs.

(I have one of the aforementioned MP-moulds, I've just never gotten around to developing a rifle for it)

To steve123

bullets are made to work fully in the classic airgun that have been on the market for 10-15 years.
So the classic grooved barrel for pellets.
Tested in our M24 airgun with Lothar Walther barrel. In CZ 200 S and in Vulcan, also CZ barrel with choke.

Would you happen to know the twist rates on each of those barrels, including the M24?

Did you make the M24 available for sale yet?

I just order these slugs sample back! Because there is only 50 of each size what speed do you recommend in edgun leshiy 350mm slighty choked lw barrel to start testing?? I have huma regulator that i can push these over 300m/s if needed! What is the lowest speed that you recommend to start with testing?

Thank you altaros these are the slugs that many of have been waiting for with those amazing bc!! And of course asking for everyone else too which is the lowest speed and the highest with different long barrels which you have get the best results??

I'd be interested to see if you can push these slugs 300m/s with a 350mm barrel. The length of the barrel will limit your velocity. I'm not saying it isn't possible. I'm just curious to see if you could do it. And it's been my experience that smaller slugs lend themselves to better stability at higher speeds. Smaller meaning .25 caliber or less.

I too own the MP mold. I own it in 5.52 as well as 6.35mm. I had no idea of the history behind the slugs. I can say this, the Altaros slugs are BEAUTIFUL. They look perfectly consistent. Almost too beautiful to shoot. ALMOST!

Altaros,

looks great, your ATP slug! 😊

Would you explain the shipping costs and the custom clearance, please?

❓ What is it actually going to cost me...?

Version A: Slug price PLUS 13USD?

Version B: Slug price PLUS 13USD "customs clearance" PLUS ??USD "shipping fees"?*

Version C: ??

Thanks for your help. I hope your beautiful slugs will be a success.

Matthias

▪The link you provided above says: "Note: The price of transport outside the EU is higher, due to customs clearance about 13 USD/package. To lower the shipping fees it is better to order more pieces in one shipment. | Price for non-EU customers 17.36 Euro/ 18.7 USD* + shipping fees."

▪Also, your other webpages say: "Free shipping worldwide. Take advantage of convenient purchase and delivery directly from the manufacturer." AND: "Due to limited production capacity, we are currently only supplying the domestic market. Deliveries abroad will come soon!"

thanks for the comments and ideas. I will try to answer:

TrinityMaker write:

They are similar because they are originally based on the shape of the Gregor who sent me the file.

But these are a lot of changes and the only thing that remains similar is the rear part (BT) and even here a different angle will be made later.

We have fewer grooves with a different shape and diameter. Modified front part, more oval. These adjustments are therefore because Gregor's type are too large for most magazines.

So there was not much left of from the original shape but I definitely do not deny the basis of its shape, we have no reason to do so. This technology allows to make a lot of possible designs in a short time, which we demonstrated especially on 61 and 48 grain pointed bullets.

"

Hi does your 61g bullet will be available to purchase to…? "

There is currently no suitable barrel on the market for these bullets, so their production would start when a special version of the M24 was delivered to the market, with which we set new world record. It is possible that we will first prefer the 48grain version, which is better produced and works similarly up to 700-800m meters.

" Would you happen to know the twist rates on each of those barrels, including the M24? "

The serial version M24 used a standard chocked LW barrel, which has a twist rate according to the manufacturer's data 17.7" (450mm)

For normal shooting, we tested speeds from 185 m/s to 290 m/s (600 fps - 950 fps), but it should not be a problem with higher speeds and probably even lower.

Most tests was at speed of 279 m/s (M24 rifle) and at 220 m/s (Vulcan airgun).

I apologize for this. A colleague confused it a bit on the web.

1) The purchase can only be made on our second eshop https://www.militaryairgun.com operated by our company Altaros Air Solutions s.r.o. which has a license for the production and sale of weapons and ammunition. ATP is only presented on our main website www.altaros.cz , which is intended only for the sale of accessories. On altaros.cz is postage free, as the price is already included in more expensive products, just so that it does not confuse the customer.

The sale of ATP depends very much on the number, as lead is simply more heavy as a lightweight aluminum regulator.

It should already be fixed and clearer on the web.
Before the final confirmation of the order, you always see the final price you will pay

2) I'm copying rewritten text from the web, which should be clearer :

Price for non-EU customers 12.4 Euro/ 13.5 USD* + shipping and custom clearance

Note: The price of transport outside the EU is higher, due to customs clearance fixed price 13 USD/package. To lower the Shipping fees it is better to order more pieces in one shipment.

e.g. Shipping to USA 1xATP 110 pcs = 13,5 USD (ATP bullets) + 10.5 USD (shipping) +13 USD (custom clearance) = 37 USD --- price/1pc =37 USD

e.g. Shipping to USA 5xATP 110 pcs = 5x13,5 USD (ATP bullets) + 26.4 USD (shipping) +13 USD (custom clearance) = 106.4 USD ---- price/1pc =21.3 USD

I understand that for American customers the largest amount made primarily customs duty and shipping. This is a fact that will be gradually removed by the local dealer.

Edosan :

Thanks for the information. We will take this into account in the future modification of the packaging.

Altaros, 😊

thanks you very much for clarifying all these details for us. 👍🏼

The high prices due to shipping and customs are a little hard to swallow, but your slug has no commercially produced equal. 👍🏼

Be sure you get your info out to other AG forums....

🔶 I'm sure some guys on the forums can get together to combine an order to lower the price for each.... 😊
