Need some help with my first "bottle build"

I'm using a JDS Airman drop bottle adapter, with a 13 c.i. 4500 psi bottle, with a paintball type reg, looks to be a Gurlleu brand, with a 1500 psi output. I've got the bottle filled with 3000 psi, but it's not putting anything out, as in no pressure to the tube -

I know the JDS Airman drop block doesn't have one of the pins that would work with a strictly co2 tank, but I was under the impression it was good to go and set up for hpa -

Any idea(s) what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion

SteveV

Back off the low side burst disk (the one with the lower rating) just enough that it starts to hiss. When the hissing stops, back it off a little more until it starts hissing again. Repeat until empty.

Thank you breaux -

That was a fast response, and your advice was 100% spot on -

Did just as you said, put everything back together, pressurized bottle, gun fires.

Has a very bad blow by issue at the transfer port, but that is fix-able.

Here's a pic of the "proto-type" lol -

Well it wasn't just the x-fer port leaking, also had a weird valve stem, looked like a P-rodmaybe? Anyway, re-sealed everything on her, replaced valve stem, now with a trimmed Disco hammer spring and no pre-load on the power adjuster, getting 705 fps with H&N 14.66. With power adjuster cranked all the way in just shy of coil bind, getting 845 fps.

I have another valve, and other barrels to play with, this may end up as a .25

If anyone has a Cothran or RC Machine riser breech just laying around not being used, give me a shout! Also really want to find an aftermarket 2250 stock for this thing, so it will feel less contraption-like.
