Need Some Help With A Purchase

So I had the funds set aside for a mini raptor but bought a new truck and the funds went to accessories. Now I am trying to sell my high end crossbow to fund the raptor mini again but now there is a black Friday sale going on for a lightbar I really wanted for my truck. So now I may just have to give up the raptor and get something else. Looking to be at $500-$700 realistically just gun I have a tank scope and other needed gear. Looking for a .25 caliber platform multi caliber swaps will be a plus, lighter the better I have a gauntlet and it's a tank I want to be able to take into the woods shoot off a bench or a pod and will be used for pest and small game hunting. Shot count is big I want as many as possible so I don't have to worry as much about a refill of in the woods, lastly would really prefer the side lever over a bolt. Thank you for any suggestions.

I'd just forget about the light bar and get the raptor mini lol. You will accessorize that truck and it will cost you big $. It will not add a bit of value to that truck. The raptor mini just like most airguns, will hold its value very well. Its like money in the bank.

The only gun I can think of in that price range that is light and can change calibers is a Airforce condor ss. But that gun is old tech and you will spend money on it trying to improve it until you equal the price of a raptor mini. Maybe someone else can think of something else.

Here is my issue I am a stay at home dad and the wife said she won't fund anymore toys so to get something I have to sell something so anything over $50 is a long hard saving now that I have sold and rotated my toys. It will be very hard to get the money for the lightbar again, it will be hard to get the funds for a mini raptor again too but at least I have 2 other pcps.

Keep the crossbow, it's paid for. And weigh your options with the other two wants. How often are you really going to use that light bar compared to the Raptor Mini? (Light bars are usually too bright for most situations on the road, and could get you in trouble with the law. High mounted light bars suck in snow, rain, and fog, and low mounted light bars truly only work well for fog if done right.) Now, if you are off road hunting and using the light bars with the Raptor Mini, then I'd just work a few more hours this week to have all three toys!

I use the lightbar for when I go hunt to my spots pitch black and also on the no light roads in small towns. Will be low mounted you may have missed the part of stay at home dad no income no working extra lol. The thing is I don't need the $1300 crossbow of course at the time I thought I did but would rather it go to something else.

A little side job while the kids are in school or a paper route early in the morning? Little side jobs exist at weird times. About ten years ago I paid off my truck with a little contract to blow off a parking lot with a backpack blower in the morning at five AM, 6 days/week. Was able to do it before my real job and college classes. Did that for two years and my truck was paid off right about the time I got into the program and started real school. Crazy how much faster money accumulates at even $10/hr compared to $0/hr. (Ten times faster).

I'm also a stay at home dad and I've been in your situation. I've seen deals here on agn that were so tempting but I had to control myself to not buy. The thing about airguns is there will always be a good deal later on and it's probably the same for light bars. If I were you, I would put the xbow for sale and if you dont get what you are wanting, pull it off and wait a few weeks/months and try again. Once you sell the xbow and have some money saved up, then you can wait for a really good deal on an airgun or light bar to come up. The fx guns are super cheap now compared to when they were new and they will be as cheap or cheaper later on. There is a 30 cal impact for 1000 right now. If that's not a scam, someone just got a screaming good deal on a gun that once costed over 2000. This will also be true for the raptor.
