Need help deciding on a pcp

Hi,

this has been an ordeal cause i overthink everything. For the days I have been trying to figure out which pcp to get.

I want: in the middle side-lever, .22 caliber, near 100 shot count, synthetic stock or black coated, has a bottle 480cc or higher, $1,500 preferably less. Bullpup or carbine length. Light-ish

I’m wanting to hunt and plink with it, I also intend to backpack with it too. I’m almost sold on the AGT Uragan. Like the Kalibregun Carbine better, but am afraid i would be losing shot count, plus it’s wood.
help!

From what you are looking at, I think the Uragan would fit the bill. May want to look at the RTI priest too, fits a lot of your requirements and is very versatile. As an owner of two Kalibrguns, I can highly recommend them too. But, as noted, shot count will be just above 50 or so, no bottle, & it’s wood.

I have talked to Charlie at GA Airguns & he is highly impressed with the Uragan. It’s never been my cup of tea, but have heard great things about it.

That Uragan really is a sweet setup. I just watched the review video at Talon Tunes for it and the manual has something in it about only using it for target shooting and that it shouldn't be used for hunting. If it has that in there due to it needing to stay clean it might not be a great choice as a backpack or hunting setup. Seems like a strange disclaimer. Otherwise it's really nice.

So your seeing my dilemma huh? I dont know much about Kral Arms, would you guys even think about them? The np-500 and Dazzle listed at Krale website has them in the $600+ range. And have all the goodies, but I need assurances from the pro’s ( YOU GUYS )

4th and 7th one down, the Dazzle (stupid name) has a changeable tank, It boasts over 200 shots. The np-500 looks just light and ready, think its 140 shots? With it being just a Jumbo with a bottle and a tactical looking stock. I would think that both are built on the platforms here in the US? Its just the plunge and being pretty much on your own if we encountered problems. Found a Kalibrgun Carbine, but it’s $1,600

thanks for reply’s

I like Kral, I hunt with a Kral Puncher Breaker in .25 Cal.

If you buy a new Kral, you can set it up and shoot it and if your not happy with it just call and tell them your returning it for a refund.

Also if you want protection, pay with a Credit Card then your protected and can dispute thru your Credit Card company that’s on your side, to Protect you with Purchase Protection.

If you use a Debit Card you have no Protection on your purchase.

Be a Smart Consumer

Best of Luck!

Don't forget the classifieds here. Really good guns show up all the time, sometimes with desirable extras thrown in for nothing or close to it. Check out the member's accuracy score, whether he's on our scammer list, etc., first, of course. But some of our most well known and respected members go through a ton of guns and clean out their inventory fairly regularly.

Thank you, i will check them out too. Troy got back a hold of me and said that all the Kral’s on Krale are good to go, and that he can get all parts from him, plus information. Troy himself has ordered the NP-500 from there.

I will most certainly be on the watch on the classifieds, I’m not pulling the trigger just yet, waiting on more news from others who are selling. Thanks again

I have a Brocock compatto Sniper XR semi-bullpup in .177, FX Impact Compact in 22, and a Taipan Veteran Compact in 25 cal. I would for your price range recommend the Taipan, but it is rear cocking level. However, as everyone has told me and now I see, the Taipan (also Czech) is built like a something brick house and out of the box super accurate. The Taipan was the only gun of the 3 brands to come with a proof target and has by far the best trigger of the group, out of the box. Below are the 3 guns and the target is from the Taipan. I got the Taipan last Tuesday from Balistas, and they were great to deal with, and the scope is ordered and I hope it arrives tomorrow or Tuesday.

all around power , shot count at least 100 , synthetic stock , durable , you have a hard time beating the uragan. there are plenty of great guns , but that shot count , that's the toughest. i have used kral , and they have their fans , but they are not in the same polished class as the uragans , taipan vets , brococks , fx as far as smooth operation and performance. krals not bad , just not in same class. obviously , or the other brands would be out of business. a $600 gun leaves out a few things a $1400 gun has.

...I am not even actually in the market and youse guys are making me head spin...!?!... .!. D .!.

...I would just buy this and almost did before I sobered up yesterday...I don't need no stinking shot count though...

...I really like it and that is/was almost reason enough...this is a good merchant with a number of nice guns availalbe...
