Recently topped of one of my Scott tanks & 20 min. later heard the sound of escaping air(glad I wasn't nearby) Tank was empty when I checked. Need a source & size for blow-out disc- I assume it's a 7500psi. disc but not sure of right size for threads.

Are you sure it wasn’t the burst disc on the compressor itself? It would be unusual for the tank disc to go before the compressor disc. I’m not saying I didn’t happen, just unusual. Have you filled this tank before, as some are rated at 3000 lbs, and look the same as a 4500.

It was def. the tank- had filled to 4200- shut valve & de-gassed compressor & 30 min. later heard it let go & tank was empty

I have a Scott 30 min 4500 psi with a bad valve. I can pull the burst disc & send it to you if you want it. PM me. (Not using that tank anymore)
