So I am trying out different pellets and weights on my .177 DreamTac, just 'cause, and I don't have a single shot tray, sooo...

I used what ever was available; a plastic spoon.

I used a solder iron and made a pellet notch at the end, but still had a challenge aligning it, so I used a tack to locate the depth

Whatever works! My wife is amazed at all the stuff I fabricated when 1st getting into airguns to avoid spending money on "peripherals" (i.e., single shot tray, shooting rest for zeroing in, target stands, "patchworm" type cleaner, etc.) Yeah, "necessity is a mother", but ingenuity saves buck$!

Necessity, ingenuity, and the finance department (aka: wife) have all colluded on many occasions to make me come up with some creative problem solving. I applaud your "outside the box" thinking.

Nice! On a somewhat related tangent, having a 3D.printer has made airgunning so much more enjoyable. Now I can just print single shot trays, bottle bipod adapters, etc.

I have been looking at getting a 3D printer, but currently have too many logs on the fire. That would have done it for sure; but hey, this works for now.
