Mystery LDC

I bought a used .30 cal LDC last week and the owner wasn’t sure who made it.

its 8” long, just a tad over 30 mm in diameter and weighs in at about 9 oz. I have it direct threaded on a Taipan Vet and its very effective.

seems to be very well made. I am curious who made it.

Certain makers are known for certain things.

Neil Clague will not make any that can be disassembled easily.
Roy Kastern was/may still be making them.

Anthony Storey turned out great one piece LDC's.

There's Rocker1 but he uses CF & Aluminum.

Austin B is 3D printing quite a few.

If I had to guess, and it's definitely a 1/2x's 20tpi I would say one of the 1st 3 fellas. It's not like they sign them.
I see a grub screw securement hole, and threads. Could have been altered at some point.
Simple baffles inside or fancier design?
Yours looks like it was coated or sprayed with a textured finish.

You have a good eye! Indeed, both ends have 4 grub/set screws. How the internals were set in the tube is beyond me. Looks like a one piece unit. And yes, textured flat black paint. Its hard for my eye to look down tube to see baffles. Very pro. Its about 3 oz heavier than a DonnyFL Sumo.
