My three new Springers šŸ¤—

Just got started into this Airgun ā€œthingā€ recently and must admit.....Im thoroughly HOOKED šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø. Here are my first Airguns I bought last month and set them up. Iā€™m no stranger to shooting or arms but am new to air gunning. I plan on adding a TX200 & HW97 to complete my springer collection over the next few weeks then itā€™s on to PCPā€™s ! This hobby is actually a lot cheaper than my guitar habit though šŸ‘ŒšŸ˜‚. Anyway....enjoy the pics andĀ

THANK YOU FOR ADDING ME HERE šŸ‘šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

Uhmmmm....thatā€™s a tough one ( LOL šŸ˜‚) I love them equally. When I did my homework on air rifles , I wanted nothing but upper level rifles. Iā€™m a ā€œ buy once, cry onceā€ kind of shopper when it comes to my arms and guitars. I donā€™t settle for cheaper stuff. I buy what the heart wants andĀ be done with it. I really canā€™t pick a favorite out of these three performance wise. All three are smooth and seriously accurate. All are .22 caliber. If I had to split hairs and only keep one ? .......probably the HW98. Itā€™s got everything going for it : adjustability, looks, lighterĀ weight, compact. Itā€™s a prom queen looking for attention to me ā¤ļøšŸ¤—

My next two I want are the HW97K & TX200 carbine.....maybe in .177 just so I have a caliber variety to play with. I was going to pick up a Walther LGU but after reading about their trigger.....I decided to pass. If they ever go back to a better trigger I may get one though but the current offering is a no-go for me.

I have both Walther's (LGU and LGV) as well as an HW97. The Walther trigger will never be as good as the Rekord-one of the best available. But it can be so close that the difference is negligible. I prefer my Walther's (either one) over my HW97.

Nice! You cameĀ in swinging for sure. Check out the HW30 for a well balanced collection.

For a newcomer, you certainly did come out swinging for the fence! Very nice choices, very nice mounts, great scopes...I like your style! But the "Buy once, cry once" philosophy doesn't usually work well with airguns, because with each finely crafted gun you buy, you end up wanting more! Also, assuming they are all stock guns, once you try a well-tuned springer and see the additional difference a tune can make, well....that's just another rabbit hole to go down.

Both the TX200 and HW97 and great....and there's no lack of debate on which is "better." I've got both and enjoy both, but I have to agree with intenseaty - the HW30 in .177 would be my next pick. They're trim, low powered, and usually shoot like lasers. Rarely see them come up for sale on the classifieds, and that's because nobody who buys one ever wants to sell it.Ā

I'd personally pay theĀ little price premium for a Beeman R7 (same gun, but slightly nicer stock), or get an HW30 laminate stock from Airguns of Arizona if you want something a little different. Or the AoA urban pro if you want to go all out (with the laminate stock). Moderators don't quiet springers as much as PCPs, but they do make a noticeable difference, which is especially nice indoors.Ā

My (slightly customized) Urban pro is my number one go-to gun, especially when shooting indoors in the winter months. But you can't go wrong with either of the underlevers either. Or just enjoying what you've got! Either way, welcome to this crazy hobby obsession!!

A very nice jump into the addiction for sure. Very nice guns to start out with too. Yes, it is cheaper than your guitar addiction but when you add them together you may be in trouble. But look on the bright side you can alwaysĀ rent your house out for the summer and live in a tent in your back yard to get more funds. Never know what the addiction may require of you until your into it for awhile.

Nice collection,at first I thought I was going to see some less expensive, hard to shoot springers.not so,you did good!

I have both the HW 97K and TX200,97is .22 and TX is .177..the .177 shows accuracy better=smaller holes, that said I like.22 better because of my fat fingers.Fat fingers makes the TX200 harder for me to load..should have got it in .22...something to think about.

Again you have a good start....I see you have good scope mounts too,you know a lot more than your saying,LOL.
