My take on the Altaros Booster

Last fall i bought a Yong Heng and used it a couple of times to fill tanks.

Just did'nt like all the "water world thingy". Over the winter i skipped a beer or two and bought an Altaros Booster in late february.

Now bear in mind that im in no way sponsored by them!!!

But let me tell you this: I bought the whole shabang: Booster, regulator for bottle to bottle fill and the rebuild kit to do so.

The nicest people to do buisness with and super helpfull despite english being their second language. The responded to emails promptly and always helpfull. Super cool!

So now i can fill from a shop compressor (large or small only takes more time) or i can hook up my booster at the range feeding it all air from bottles (one for each intake or one for both, your choise) and in the shop compressing store bought air by the use of shop compressed air.

Oh and the regulator can also work with my Texan and supply regulated 250bar air for thethered most of the day.

And it all cost me less than @1100.

I think my YH will wither away in a dark corner never to be used again.

For y'all yelling: I want to fill my bottles now not in some hours, i can just say (you have to few bottles and): The Altaros has a pressure switch incorporated in the HP side so it's set it and forget it. No matter how slow your compressor is the Altaros will chug on during the night and fill bottles while youre prducing ZZZ.

Before this I had a Y/H for a couple years and for the price I feel it was worth it. Now I own a Alkin I have 3 high end rifles and love to shoot them so I figured for the cost of another new rifle I could buy a industrial grade compressor and never need another. I know its expensive and even out of some peoples budget but it you can afford on I would highly recommend it. I got a really good deal on mine so feel free to message me if like more info.

When I had mine they answered all my emails but when it had a catastrophic failure and I could not fix it they would not honor the warranty. If you use it to fill bottles on a regular basis your compressor will be short lived and so will your booster. Mine did not make 2 years. There idea of a warranty is tech help by email and maybe a small part here and there. They will not accept a booster back for repair.
