My Sig Sauer ASP20 .22 has arrived! Some thoughts and some Chrony results.

No pics. Messed up the target while removing. Had My Sig sighted to 35 yds and decided to change it to 50. I knew it would be low so I went up 10 clicks. Too high. Went down 2 clicks and still needed 2 more. It was about 1/2 to the left so went 2 clicks right. Last 3 shots were cloverleaf about 1/2" low but had to call it a day. The last 5 were about 3/4" total with the 2 that were left. All at 50 yds and a Discovery 6-24 and AA 16gr. .22. Would have liked to get a pic but there is always next time.

Out of curiosity, with yours sighted in at 35 yds does that put you a little low at 30ft? I have mine sighted dead on at 30 feet with the Sig Wraith alloy pellet weighing in at 13.3gr. At 870 fps I figure this should be dead on around 40 yds. With slower heavier pellets I'm about 3/8" low at 30ft. You think 40 yards sounds about right ? Have you tried the H&N Field Trophy dome yet ? They shoot well in mine.

Have not tried it at 30 ft but Chairgun shows it would be about 1/2" low. That is with the AA 16gr @ 815 fts. I tried several different pellets when I first got it and the AA where the best in mine. At 50 yds, if I do my part, it will consistently do 1/2" or less and the last time I tried it at 75 yds I had 8 out of 10 that were in 1" and the whole group of 10 was about 1 1/4".

I can't say that I tried the H&N Field Trophy for sure as I was only checking the groups and not making notes but the AA were the most impressing for me. Using the AA 16 at 815 with a BC of .023, Chairgun shows I should be about 1/2" low at 40 yds. Don't know which heavier pellets you are using but punch them in to Chairgun and check it out. I checked out the figures when I am sighted in at 50 and Chairgun shows that I should be 1.37 high and my measurement was 1 3/8" and that was without changing the parallax because I am leaving it at 50 for now.I am using a scope height of 1.75.
