It had dawned on me that I have in no way been really on point as to what I am trying to accomplish with the Raptors. Well, Here it is. Good or Bad, it is where I am.

There has been a big gap in the AG world. With the advent of the very popular long range comps of late, there has been only one "Real Contender on a regular basis. That being the FX Impact. and before anyone gets n my case, I can tell you that I am a HUGE Fan of the FX Impact and what Fredric has accomplished with it. I very much appreciate Fredric's, Matt Dubber's, and Nick at NSA efforts in bringing slug shooting to the AG's out for the common AG shooter without a long process of having to gain the knowledge and having a custom gun spec'd and simply hoping everything works out.

The Impact is up there in price, far above most shooters pay grade.Especially when outfitted with all the refinements to make it a Real Competitor. I think the Raptor is in a fine position to change this. It is gonna take a little effort, mostly in testing, to hopefully see this to fruition.

This is where my personal efforts are going to be concentrated.

From what little I have now experienced this platform, it is telling me it is far more dependable from the get go. It can only get better with proper twist and slugs to bring out its finest!

I think the future is Very Bright for this well engineered and produced near full custom AirGun.

Truly hope that Travis and the JSAR Team agrees and will lend his expertise and support to my endeavor.

For those that could possibly misunderstand. I am not asking Travis or JSAR to help build me a Comp gun. Nope, I don't compete. No desire too. My desire is to see the JSAR on Top of the Heap right along with the FX! And I have every intention of helping in seeing it obtain that status. ;M)

After all. Test-Test-Test is what I do. LOL. And a little tinkering in bullet designs. Oh Yeah!!!

Scott Schneider known to the airgun World As
MotorHead, known for his fine work on AG;s is a Multi time FT Champion well known tuner, is now heading to JSAR. After the first of the Year, he will be on Staff thee. His CQ expertise will be a huge asset.

Once Scott gets settled in after the first, it is gonna be a huge improvement in production speed as well.
And who wouldn't want Scott in QC!

I know this, the Raptor has already made me a younger man!

I Still have the Wifes reading glasses on. GRRRR!!! Still old LOL

The future is bright.

Before is the Avatar, and now---And Wee Doggy Approved!

I was looking into edgun and fx but jsar might be my next high end. Like the man said now that they have motorhead..... I just cant wait. So can you ask jsar to tune your gun to what your specs are? Do they just make the guns or do they tune them as well?

They will tune to your specs for a small fee. Its an option on their order page.

I was playing with the slug barrel today. 5 shots, 60 yards, 39 gr slug I cast from an NOE Mold.

12-13 mph wind,900 fps. The bottom left hole was made by screwdriver blade as an aiming point.

4 in one hole, 5th shot touching on top left. Very pleased!l!

Fine job with the JSAR's KnifeMaker! It would be nice to find a supplier in that slug for a decent price, instead of having to cast them.
