My new video series - Airgun Quick Hits

I really like the way you present your videos and now I have another favorite airgun site to look forward to watching. Thanks a lot! The shorts are a great idea for a teaser. I realize the work in putting these out and appreciate it. I learn a lot from your explanations of the shots you take too. I know I would shoot more if I had the target rich area like you have and not just shooting at paper. ,,,,, A shooter that cleans houses too ... now that's a new one !

Thanks Russ!!

I like giving the explanations on some shots, as these are things I've learned on the way to where I am as a shooter, and I hope they help others to progress more quickly.

Ted's videos gave me the foundation for holdover shooting, but it sure is challenging most days. I miss at least 1 of 3 shots most days, and 1 of 2 often it seems. And there are other days when it seems you only miss 1 of 5 or 1 of 10 only. Those are the days I love....when you can get a long sequence of kills.

It's weird, sometimes I seem to struggle with the pigeons at 80 yards, but can ace the sparrows at 65. Other days I smack the pigeons at 70+ yds but miss the starlings and sparrows at 40.

Eddie,

I only shoot the MKII heavies, as when I put the Huma regulator in, I set it to 150 bar and tuned the HS for 848fps average. I think this setting would have the 25gr pellets going way too fast. I also shoot the ST-X barrel liner.

I fill to a Max of 230 bar and get around 32 shots. And I haven't cleaned the barrel in about 400 shots, so it might need it right now. Can't hurt anything, as I did notice some pellet wobble in a few shots when I reviewed alll the footage.
