It was too cold and windy yesterday for airgun shooting. Since it was also "senior craft" day at my house, I decided to replace my crap version spring fixture with a more professional one. I tend to save wood and metal remnants for future projects, can't stand to throw good stuff away. I used inch thick oak and hard pine deck flooring material for the project. Four layers of an old leather belt used for push guide that protects the protruding safety. Screws, glue and eight hours later...done. Works great. My wife made a Christmas dress for my young grand daughter.
