My new PP700S A in .22 cal

Last month I was cruising that AA site and there was a PP700S A in.177 cal for sale. I thought it was a good price and I bought it. A few days after that I saw a threat here(which I can't find) on aftermarket grips for the PP700 and in that thread one of the guys mentioned Brian at Veradium Air. I gave Brian a call and it turns out to be the best phone call I've made all year. Brian is a total pleasure to deal with, he explained what he was going to do to the PP700 and what I could expect after he was done.

The next day I shipped the gun and from the moment he received it till he was done, there was excellent communications. And from the first call I did not like what he was finding.

I will enclose the letter so you all can see what I had, basically a dangerous piece of crap. Like I said before, the best phone call I've made all year.

Sir a brief on what was found upon inspection of your .177 PP700SA sent to Veradium for tuning, My inspection.

Upon Inspection of the .177 I determined it was not suitable for use. Reason as follows

1.HammerSpring mount screw was to long had broken thru to hammer pin forcing up and damaging pin hole. Hammer was being forced to the right and rubbing the right grip guard, Hammer was striking valve off center. Thread holes for opposite screw were stripped.

2. Pistol body had significant less metal on the right side of the pistol, regulator screw had broken thru at top of hole exposing threads. Regulator could not be properly secured to body.

Regulator missing 3 belville washers.

3. Signs of moisture being introduced into air tank.

As we discussed for your safety, the pistol should no longer be in use. As I hate delivering bad news, I decided to perform the original tune but upgraded you to a PP700SA .22cal.

Complete upgraded O ring set.

Installed Huma regulator and bridged with factory regulator.

Improved valve spring, polish seat.

Adjust hammer spring, curf hammer spring nut.

Polish and tension barrel.

Set trigger travel and break.

Tuned for split of power and shot count, 35shots - avg. 700fps - 200bar fill - 14.3g.

While Veradium did not sell you the .177 PP700SA, I want this experiance to be better, I am providing the .22 cal upgrade at no extra cost to you. Hope you consider staying in the airgun sport and feel free to contact me with any questions.

Good news, the guy that sold me the gun called me and he was very surprised as to the condition of the gun. He was the original owner and he purchased the gun earlier this year, he said he did not mess with it. We came to an agreement we were both happy with and he thanked me for getting in touch with him. Just like most of us, his good name is worth more than any gun.
