My new/old Cricket 25 Bullpup

I got the gun from a member here and sent it to GA Airguns for some TLC. I was able to get out to the place I shoot long distances today with a couple of buddies. This gun is "righteous." I'm still learning to shoot bullpups, but I don't have any problems shooting this one. Here's a 6 shot group at 65 yards. And I shoot standing on a Caldwell magnum fieldpod.

Charlie "power tune" that thing or is it still stock?

You shot that group standing with a Caldwell magnum fieldpod? That makes that group look a lot more impressive to me.

Not a complete power tune with an extra plenum, but he opened the ports to get it shooting 906 fps with 34 gr for 45 shots. So it's power tuned but in a different way. Yes, I always shoot standing from a magnum fieldpod. I almost stopped at 3 shots because I was afraid that I would lose concentration. but I had 3 additional pellets to finish the magazine soI just said screw it, and shot all of them.

That's a fair increase over stock, to be shooting 906 fps with 34 gr for 45 shots. Charlie set my .25 Cricket BP up for me back in 2014 for Wild West Airguns. Still shoots great.

Not sure I could hit something much smaller than a baseball standing with a magnum fieldpod at 65 yards.

I've gotten so used to it that I have trouble shooting from a bench. I started using the magnum FP to get around carrying a table and chair out to the place I shoot long distances at and I have just gotten used to shooting this way.

I was actually getting slightly higher velocities than what he got. I am getting between 910 - 915 fps. As you can see his test groups were great also

I have some 25 polymags and will give them a try. I forgot to test some barracudas in it. I have about 25 tins of barracudas.

I'm sure you know the poly's probably won't fit the mag's. with all of the plastic tip in place.

The Barracuda Hunter was my go to pellet for Starlings in my .25 Cricket. Not the Hunter Extreme. The 31gr. pointed ones shot quite well from mine too. Bet it would really send a 31gr. slug + or - a 1/2 grain.

This weekend I was hunting with @intenseaty22 and I used his Cricked power tuned.... this one has the big plenum... and it blew my mind how I saw big monster iguanas dropping like never before. Loved the rifle!! That will be the next video on the channel

That's outstanding. How far are you from Tampa? I'm planning to eventually get down to hunt some hogs so I might try to get some lizards while I'm there.
