My new favorite airgun!

I really like the looks of them, and I can understand how you guys who own them love them so much. They remind me of the Colibri aka Hummingbird. It was the same way for me, just a natural shooting tool. Back to the Uragan, 860 seems a lil low, especially with hades, which shoot at least 10 fps faster in everything I own. . I would like a lil more than that. When I hear you guys are getting them up to 900, I will get myself one.

I can get them to 900fps. I’m eventually going to do a huma reg so I don’t want to open the reg up again, but it will do 890 right now if I turn up the hst

That's getting there, sounds good. 

Great shooting and that ultra slow motion showed how damaging that pellet or slug was. Was that FX Hybrids or a pellet btw? I know your editor really likes them.lol.

Yeah, Tony at TT offers to tune up the reg on the Uragan Compact 22 to shoot 18 grn at 900 fps but I decided to not have it tuned that fast. Maybe it's these awesome CZ barrels because my Taipan Veteran Shorty 22 came shooting 18grn jsbs at close to 900 fps and I found that I didn't really need it tuned that fast and it did not lose any accuracy when dialed back some. I actually dialed back the HST on my Taipan Shorty with the the 18 grn to about right where the Uragan Compact is set out of the box. I will be experimenting some but seems even with the Uragan Compact tamed down a little bit you are not losing any accuracy and it hits plenty hard. Also the CZ barrel on the Uragan Compact is a little bit longer than my Taipan Veteran Shorty but the UC as a whole feels lighter.

Thanks for the info. I had a .22 cz barrel on my hummingbird. that shot the 16s very accurate from 860 up to 940. CZ barrels are awesome.
