My new favorite airgun!

I have owned some very nice airguns like AirArms, Daystate, and FX but I don’t believe I’ve had more fun than when I’m shootings my new Uragan Compact .22 cal. I cannot say enough good things about this gun. It’s built like a brick but not heavy. It’s solid, robust, and just well made. I love the way it shoots. I love the way the gun handles. I love the way it’s made. You can just look at the magazine and say wow! It’s so easy to adjust the hammer spring and when set, the Uragan has a small set screw that makes sure the hammer spring adjustment doesn’t move. While it’s just a .22, it seems to hit really hard. I currently have it shooting at 868 fps. Last week I shot a pigeon at 85 yds and have it on video. There is ONE drawback that I have noticed, LOOKOUT FOR YOUR MIRRORS. I do a lot of shooting out of my truck and the compact is so short that you are inside your mirrors. Just saying. Looking to post a video after this. Let me hear from other Uragan owners.

Will try to post a link to some clips I videoed. I asked a friend to edit it for me. It starts out as I was shooting at a collared dove. I knew I had strong wind but didn’t think it was 3 milldots. If you follow the arrow you will see the pellet. A few scenes should have been shortened. One cow bird on a pipe awning was at 65 yds. Lots of targets though.

I’m pushing hades at 865fps, it’s my wife’s gun. I’m really surprised with the accuracy and how well everything is positioned. I had to turn the regulator up a bit to get to 865. Average full clip groups are covered by a dime at 35 yards, (Me shooting) but a better shooter and rest would improve that. What scope cam are you using?

SideShot with GoPro. I first had the sideshot with phone and found it less convenient. Also using the Athlon Midas Tac 4x14x44 FFP. If you look closely at the very last shot which I shot at a knot just to show the 3 mil dots of wind, you will see the pellet spiraling slightly. I don’t know if it was the strong wind, the pellet, or a combination of the two but I haven’t seen that before with this gun.

Really like your stock!

Love your post OP! My Uragan compact is certainly a good fit for me and quickly becoming one of my favorites as well. The video work you shared is crazy good. Very nice setup you have. Makes me contemplate going go pro since I plan to put in lots of work on the dairy and farms and that spiral shot you have is good feedback to have for those missed shots.

I love my Uragan Compact in 22 cal. Everything about it is what I've been looking for. Uragan replaced one of my impacts and I plan to shoot from my truck. The Uragan Compact will put in alot of work. Here is how I set it up with my first configuration.

I love it. It's so durable but it feels so good on the shoulder and a tad lighter than my other Shorty Taipan which is my current standard for my kind of airguns.

Below is is my current configuration and plan to use it in the truck. It's a More compact configuration and the barrel for informational purposes is the same thread as the shroud not 1/2x20 UNF.

Last picture is even lighter with the new Discovery compact ffp scope 4-16. That's some clear glass right there. Very comparable to my swfa just not as bright at full magnification. It's a well balanced configuration and lighter than how it was setup with my Athlon and it now has a NF one piece with built in 20moa, not that it needs it right now. I also added a sling attachment without needing to drill into the stock. It feels nice on the shoulder and very very well balanced. EASIER to carry around than my other compact guns. I've since pushed up the Nightforce mount and it's perfect.
