"Dartagnan"Nice guns everyone!! Just recently upgraded the valve in mine to get 22fpe with the 18gr JSB since they were the most accurate. Polymags / Metalmags came a very close 2nd. With the UTG BugBuster it certainly makes a lightweight carry in the field. if I may ask what Valve upgrade did you do ? i'm interested , as I have 5 x P_Rods how many FPS is it shooting ? thanks , roger

Was that a Steve Corcoran stock ( the one that you said, in hind sight, I should have never sold that stock ) ?
I'm talking about picture #2

RamJet- I install the Tim Hill Valve for a little more power than stock. With the JSB 18gr I was able to get an avg of 721fps 16shots filled to 3000 psi. A Hi of 744fps also with the JSB 18gr.

With the same valve upgrade I was able to get an avg of 790fps using the CP 14gr. Hi of 815fps.

Tim does have a another valve upgrade for even more power but you will reduce shot count per fill

thanks, Dartagnan, appreciate the reply, I have 1 P-rod w/ tim hill LDC , 12# h/spring, I purchased with the parts , don't know about the valve, but the seller claimed it was shooting over 1000Fps , I put my combro crony on it & it showed 895 fps, I also have a never installed valve from Freakyharley, that some day I will install & try , I love the P_rod 's cause they are really light weight & good shooters

Having so much fun with the .22 FX Ranchero. Beer cans at 75 yrds. No problem with this pistol.

Do you have MMHF barrel on your P-Rod?
