My Leshiy Build...

Hi, could it be possible to use a magazine from the Leshiy II?...modificating the hinge for making space for inserting it...but still remains to solve to put a rotation axis...the thumb must suffice for rotating it with some markings for correct pellet positioning...opinions?

I know an engineer who can do it... will cost you $2,049 😜

So, I finally decided to bite the bullet and get me a 3D printer, I got it dialed in and decided to print a new grip out of carbon fiber for my Leshiy... It came out really well so far, I will fit it up later this afternoon...

Its my first 3D printer, had it maybe 2 weeks now, I've never touched one before, I do have CNC experience, it helps... Its an Ender 3 Pro, with a couple upgrades, BL-Touch, quality hardened steel nozzle, all metal hot end... Getting ready to mount a MicroSwiss on it with 50 watt element...

Scopes are such a subjective thing for each shooter, I prefer SFP scopes personally.,..

In still not really sure why these are so popular. They seem a lot of money for a single shot PCP you have to cock like that. The only benefit I can see is extreme small size but most people I see who use then don't really need this and could use a larger multi shot gun.

Hard to explain, but there is something special about a Leshiy, comes from Russia with love build right in - it gives me pleasure - lots!

I love this thing..

I agree with towel. It is something special. The thing is built like a tank for one. I really dont think that there are any other airguns out there built as strong. I know some will disagree and thats fine. Also for something so simple you can do a lot to it. Out of all of my other PcPs including other EDs The Leshiy is my favorite. Hell its compact and for what it is its dam powerful as well.

I've seen the video of the guy converting one to multi shot. That would be somewhat appealing maybe.

Here is the thing with multi-shot. There can be issues in several forms. It can range from pellets being to long, as the case with the polymags in some airgun mags. There can be a to loose of a fit or just the opposite depending on the pellet. Now with the Leshiy being a single shot that you load directly into the barrel you can ensure that the pellet is seated right for one. Another cool thing about the Leshiy is that there is no transfer port hole in the barrel. Its straight through. This also makes it relatively easy to make, or have made custom barrels. As mentioned above... They are laser accurate as well. If you have it dialed in, the chance of needing a quick follow up shot is going to be incredibly small. If needed at all. When it comes down to it, the Leshiy is something unique and once you have one and/or shoot one for a while you may never understand why those who do have one hold it in such high praise. It really is an amazing airgun.

Because when everything else is the same, some things are just different. I don't fault anyone if they feel differently. Sometimes variety, uniqueness and purpose are deciding factors for someone to purchase something like the Leshiy.

I saw in another post that you are from the uk. With such limited space I could understand why you wouldn’t see the benefit of something so small, simple, and ruggedly built. I personally take mine on hikes and in my backpack when I go camping. In real life hunting situations more often than not you only have 1 shot on critters since they tend to be so skittish in the wild. Ed designed the leshiy to be a hunting gun first and foremost and thats exactly what I wanted when I got it. I don’t have to ever worry about my poi being off when I take it out of my backpack, the same can’t be said for most traditional rifles. Plus it’s super lightweight which is perfect for when you are out in the field for a whole day (day hiking) or multiple (camping). Since I got my leshiy I can’t see myself ever going back to a traditional rifle for my outings. Just my honest opinion though.

There are many kind of pellet holders on market now ... However, I only love this

I ordered one, don’t have it yet. Cleared Russian customs on 24th, now a black hole. I have faith that it will come eventually. $65 wasn’t a big risk to take. I think he is good based on others feedback.

I ordered a couple of Akula moderators from Russia. From the time I sent send on PayPal to when they arrived was over ten weeks. In fact I think it was exactly ten weeks from the time the tracking number was assigned in Russia.

From Russian customs to delivery in the US was just over eight weeks with no updates. I black hole as you say.

I was relieved when they showed up.

Those pellet dispensers look ideal. I may have to go through the process once again.
