My Leshiy Build...

 

Removing the sticky stuff is easy, citrus cleaner and its gone, (rubbing alcohol works ok too) some of the vinyl I'm using is made for wrapping cars and is easily removed and any residue is easy to remove... I've been doing vinyl a long time...

There are many kind of pellet holders on market now ... However, I only love this 

 

@airgunnerca where did you buy it from and how much did it cost? I cant seem to find that holder I can only find the huma one and this other 3d printed one that goes on the bottom rail. 

Interested as well and I don't even have a Leshiy yet. That pellet dispenser looks like it's mounted where it should be. Right next to the breech. Faster single shot loading, less waisted movement, better efficiency. I like this!

@peskadot671 your very keen on noticing how much more efficient it is without owing a leshiy. I was going to get the huma one but i saw my friends and while using it I noticed it was a lot more of a 2 hand operation. If you are sitting on a bench its not a big deal, however when doing a walking/stalk hunt it becomes a lil more of a nuisance. This design seems like it would make those types of situations better.

I will eventually get one. I currently have over 2K in OT money burning a hole in my pocket and I'm still trying to decide on three different PCPs' for specific hunting purposes. Decisions, decisions. Hmmm. 

@peska yea if you want a rifle that is easy to toss in a backpack and has some modularity the Leshiy is def one to consider 

@blkbagger you are missing the point. It’s obvious that speed is not the priority with the Leshiy. It’s meant to be taken into the field. When I tried the Huma dispenser I didn’t like the way it dropped from the bottom. When I was using my friends while on a hike I accidentally dropped a pellet while trying to reload, and he said it’s not uncommon. The other dispenser let’s the pellet sit there making it much easier to just pick up and move to the breach.

I totally understand that the Leshiy ain't no EBR Speed Silhouette contender. I have other airguns with multi-shot capabilities. The Leshiy appeals to me for what it is as a single shot design. I'm talking about being lightweight and compact in the folded position. Something I could lay flat on top of the seat of my truck or yes, in a backpack. Short is where it's at.

So how do you like the Tac Vector on the Leshiy?

The russian pelletholder as in the picture above of "Airgunnerca" looks very nice and ergonomic. The only improvement would be to make the opening smaller, and the pellet spacing less, so more pellets can be loaded into the dispenser.

As mentioned above, for easiness/ergonomics of loading 2 things are important to have IMO:

1. One must be able to grip the pellet at the skirt, (in the same manner as when you pick one up from the tin) so dispensers that let a pellet drop into your hand (like the HUMA) are not ergonomic as it will take some manipulating with the receiving hand before you have the pellet between thumb and index finger, as only then one is able to push the pellet headfirst into the chamber. (As you are holding the gun with one hand, you only have the other hand available to catch the pellet and swirl/juggle it so it ends up in your pinch grip...)

2. The pellet dispenser needs to be at a convenient, (read: easy to reach) place.

My home brewed solution (PLA+ 3D printed rectangular plate with 3D printed clamps and a piece of 6mm foam with holes stamped in it) is fully compliant with #1, and #2 is not too bad either. If I was to get a commercial dispenser, I would certainly go with the russian one.
