My journey to a better FX Impact trigger

I just shortened my spring, after flattening and polishing the end my length wound up at 8.7mm. Perfect reset and much smoother pull.

I am a paper puncher only as well and I did pretty much the same polishing (to mirror finish) as the OP. For my Impact MK2.
I lubed the sliding parts with high concentrated moly grease (not really widely sold as Honda Service grease).
The plunger set screw I did something similar as Mr.mubhaur but smaller and adjustable stroke. The spring is still the original but polished wherever touching the surrounding, also lubed.
The trigger stroke is smooth as a butter with a crisp break, perfect for BR shooting.

I'm not sure if any of you had the chance to use this.


I have great results on my triggers and also works extremely well on knife pivots. You don't need much.
