I needed something to give me an idea of wind direction and speed while shooting pigeons on silos from inside my van. Since this shooting takes place in a farm yard there is nothing but fixed buildings and equipment there so nothing to read wind from. While I have learned from other shooters here pigeons tend to land into the wind I still need some indication of changing wind speed and direction. Time will tell how well this indicator will hold up. Bill

Great idea Bill. Looks like it also put a curse on the wind. I'll make a couple since they have that power. Hey and I know where I can find some materials... wink wink. +1 to ya for a great project and presentation. Hope you don't mind if I plagiarize your idea.
