My fx Crown .25 loves 38 grain NSA SLUGS!

Was shooting about 6 different weights of NSA slugs today.

All of them at 62 yards. (That's the distance to a fence post from my porch.)

Winds were actually quite strong! Gusting to 15 miles per hour but generally steady around 10 mph.

Here's a 10 shot group at 62 yards.

I'm guessing the group would be under 1/2 inch without the wind gusts, but I'm truly pleased!

This is a 700 mm superior liner. Have no idea how fast the slugs are travelling. Just got the gun 2 days ago and have not had a chance to crony the gun yet.

Have never heard of anyone shooting slugs this heavy yet. Give them a chance. You never know...

The NSA 38.5 grain slugs is the only ammo i use for my impact with .25 700mm slugliner.
Impact holes touching each other at 100 meter and hitting coke cans consitantly at 190 meter. i shoot them at 930 / 940 fps.

I tried other weights but none of them where as accurate as the 38.5 grain.
also tried the new superior heavy liner, not bad but for long range the regular slug liner preforms way better for me.

The best performing slugs in my 22 cal crown were 36gr slugs. Looks like you dont need to tune it! Nice, man

Did your gun come with that stock and bottle combination?

I bought the gun used with a couple barrels, a couple stocks and a couple different liners. Who knows what it's original configuration is?

That's how mine is, lol. But I got it new. Looks like a winner! Happy shooting.

I've heard it takes quite some time to break in the new heavy liner. And have seen some amazing results. I shoot lighter slugs, so the superior has been amazing for me. (I also have a slug A liner)
