As a shooting lefty and knowing that is a Keeper I would prize it .As stated would be hard to wait for it to get back from blueing.
My answer would be to wait,shot it love it and then go fro there,but yes it is a candidate.

Nice Gun - your lucky, lefty’s are hard to find, I have a blonde Tyrolean lefty FWB300S- great gun, always looking for more lol.

It's a little hard to tell from the photos. Is the blueing faded or is that the light reflecting off the finnish? That is a really nice looking rifle. My only concern would be that it would reduce the value of the rifle if it was reblued.

I contacted David a while back and was informed he had discontinued (temporarily ?) the reblue service due to his work backlog. Let us know if they're now offering it again. I found it surprisingly difficult to find anyone to reblue airguns. Recomendations anyone?

Scott Blair of airguntunes has done some really nice reblue jobs for me. But turnaround might be 2 to 3 months on a reblue. But I highly recommend him. Had 3 guns done. A basket case HW55 was one of them.

When you have a big compressor, 800+ yard fields & full permission to shoot there, but you still choose the 6ft/lb .177 springer?
You might be a springer head!

What scopes are you fellow FWB300S owners mounting? I want a very short scope. Mag between 1-10x, fixed okay.

I'd leave it just like it is. For it's age, it looks great. It's your choice, there were thousands of them made, lot's of people switched parts so it may not even be completely original. It probably would not change in value rebelled or not.

I've used a Winchester 4X a couple of times. Now I'm using my son's UTG 3-9x32 AO MilDot Bug Buster. The Bug Buster mainly for the higher magnification.

I just put a Leupold 3 -9 x33 efr on my Feinwerkbau 300S Junior. A great little scope. Mounted easy with good room to load pellets.
