All filming & optics besides my 4x12x40 Hawke AMX belong to Sigma.
We filmed through 40x96 Kowa binoculars and an iPhone 10 connected to eyepiece all on almost $400 tripod.
I shot prone off a bag single shot bolt action 316 yards with 31.9 RBT tiny HP. EDgun Supermagnum .25 reg at 112 bar, slugs chronographed at 940fps BC of 0.97 I believe. Rat Snipers that can’t be found but GMI Engineering is making me custom dies. .253” 50 RBT, cup, flat for old Sumatra & any others I may need. Though I plan on VK & NSA for most stuff unless I can’t get RBT’s, or need slugs for odd gun, like original Smooth Twist that can shoot the right slugs for it.
Anyway considering I had a previous 75 yard zero with 33.95. Just cranked HST up until slugs did 940fps. Only had 20 to test & looking for visual strikes in mountain of shale.
What you’re viewing is on at least 40x. I’m shooting a Hawke 4x12x40 Airmax AMX reticle on 4x holding over an enormous amount. I’m surprised I hit it once.
EDIT: Those nocs are on an almost $400 tripod. Sighter Sigma is 3’ to my left, 2’ behind me. When I cock that bolt you can still see his iPhone/Kowa binoculars on heavy $400 tripod shake. That’s why I shoot on low power for Varmint or one trial hits.
I apologize no groups but we also had mirage/wind flowing at a 90* R to L and I simply didn’t have gun set up right. No reg tester. It came tuned at 112 bar. To get 31.9’s to 940 trigger must have been 5-6lbs.
