I have tried a bunch of rests searching for a good setup within a reasonable price range. The cheap ones I tryied were just ok wasn’t really that impressed with any of my purchases. Then I was on a airgun site and came accross a picture with 4 guys sitting in foldout chairs all lined up next to each other with air rifles sitting in tripods all pointing down range! My first thought was all 4 of these guys have the same setup! They all wouldn’t have the same setup if they weren’t any good? The Tripods they had were
Caldwell Deadshot Field Pod   So I purchased one out of Cabelas. Its the best money I ever spent. I cant get over how ajustable they are and make shooting much more fun.You can balance any thing from a Bullpup to a full length Rifle! Try one you wont regret it. $109.00 Cabelas   4.7 out of possible 5 with 200 plus Reviews

I have the least expensive model and really like it. Have been using it for 2 years shooting ground squirrels from 40 – 90 yards – longest 113 yards. Its steady enough to take your hands off your rifle while you are scouting the land and using your range finder to measure distance. Easy to move around when you switch positions.
