My experience with UT airguns today.

I've had a new FX compact Impact for about a month now...Love it.

Superior liner came out, sold my beloved Vulcan .25 ordered Superior .25 liner in 600mm length, plus hybrid FX slugs from the vendor I bought the Compact from, great guy great service. But didn't have the barrel kit .25 x 600mm kit in stock.

So ordered from UT airguns the barrel kit to use the new liner in and to add to my new COMPACT so that I would have another .25 cal plus to try the new liner and hybrids.

UT was quick to ship and what business I've done with them had been top notch.

Ok here goes. Received the barrel kit yesterday from Utah airguns, great but after opening and examining the barrel kit appeared used to me, lead dust in the moderator , plier marks on the stainless steel part just ahead of the brass transfer port , lead in for the pellet probe looks like someone carved it with a knife and moderator threads are the old metric FX size even though FX has been using 1/2 x 20 for some time now.

Called UTA explained , sent pictures , they said they were sending a new kit out and to return the kit in question , ok just what I expected.

But then I get an email stating that they record all orders going out and the owner personally packed mine and that it had 1/2 x 20 threads for the moderator end and that they were pulling the ordered from being shipped because of their video footage and that in , not as blunt words as I'm going to use , THAT I WAS A THIEF AND WAS TRYING TO SCAM THEM AS THEY HAVE HAD THIS KIND OF LYING CHEATING ATTEMPTS BEFORE!!!

I argued , sent pictures , measurements of Packaging , and was told they were going to review some more video footage and would call me back.

Well awhile later received an email that , reluctantly that they would send the replacement but stood behind their video footage and swore that they would catch me and find my angle to try and scam them after they received my return.

I know what most will think of me and this post plus the great reputation that UTA has , I would be sceptical too. But this happened to me today and I was shocked and very offended.

I have emails and photos but to much content to post here.

In the end , they are sending a replacement and I'm sending what was first sent to me all on their dime...but dang I hate being accused of being a cheat and liar.

There are two sides to all stories, anyone want their side can talk to Mike, he was who I was dealing with, he remained courteous even though I was being accused of being a liar and a cheat.

RELEVANT TO OP'S SITUATION BEING ACCUSED OF PULLING A FAST ONE ...Don't sweat it. Happens to all of us. I have been accused of trying to pull a fast one over at McDonald's and Panda Express. Two places. McDonald's DRIVE THRU I count my 20pc chicken mcnuggets and got short BY ONE PIECE 3x in a row every time I called to inform the manager then next time they add another as a replacement (one nugget) to my next 20pc order just let them know I spoke with the manager. Well that one with the extra ONE mcnugget came out to exactly 20 TOTAL the woman was with me on the car that time and even double counted them. Sure I called them about it the manager couldn't believe it so again next time tell them and get that extra ONE mcnugget. Ok the last time I visited that same McDonald's I go in this time and let them know about the extra ONE nugget then ok I get a take out bag I open it right in front of the cashier and count OUT LOUD ONE BY ONE and it came out to 20 AGAIN with the so called ONE extra. The cashier didn't understand why I was pointing and yelling THERE!!! ONLY TWENTY!!! YOU SEE YOU SEE YOU SEE!!! They gave one piece extra no apology at all and I never went back to that location ever again. 

Panda express always screwing up drive thru orders every freakin time. Always one side missing. ALWAYS Order AND PAY FOR TWO 3 choice plates every time and always missing ONE side. Got home the woman asked where's her kung pow chicken didn't I order it? Receipt clearly shows yup they charged me for it. Called manager oh so sorry we very busy so next time we give you extra. OK so next time again ordered TWO plates 3 choice each plus one EXTRA SIDE for last time right? WRONG!!! Not home there's only SIX instead of SEVEN. Called the manager who COULD NOT BELIEVE IT told me SHE HERSELF packed my order to avoid any mistakes and FLAT OUT CALLED ME OUT IM A LIAR AND SHE THOUGHT ID TRY TO CHEAT THEM BEING SUSPICIOUS SAYING ALWAYS MISSING SOMETHING. WELL they RIPPED ME OFF because I never got that last missing entree. Yo!

UA are great to deal with until there's an issue with the order. I did end up getting mine all sorted out but was voiced on here and I too had the same dealing with Mike. My gun had a faulty reg and wanted a refund. I had shot strings and target photos. They paid shipping back and tested it and couldn't find any issues so dinged me 15%. I wrote about it on here and then one of the owners saw it and personally tested the gun and found that in fact the reg wasn't working. He sent the 15% right away and a personal phone call which was big in my book. Hoping this gets straightened out for you.

Sent the used POS barrel kit back this morning, but have had no contact today plus no shipping confirmation for the new barrel kit.

I did send an email last night that started out, that's pretty dame sorry that the guy on their video that was supposed to packing the barrel in the white tube with black marking's was not even the tube I received that's all white and that they can do whatever the hell they want and if that's stopping that shipment again that I would stop the CC payment using my credit card protection policy.

But their distrust in their costumers will eventually catch up with them. I know about these things as I am a manager at a propane company for the last ten years so I understand how to run a public business and yes I've heard every story about how they lost all their gas because of a leak on our lease tank, that always happens in the winter time, when the fact is they are simply using it.

But at the same time we must treat it as a leak then proceed...but I never ever tell them that they are trying to screw and intentionally deceive us and f us over!

You know theArizona company got too big for their britches and lost their distributorship for FX product's and I see Utaw heading that direction.

Just like I told them I ain't never cheated anyone out of anything!!!

I had a odd experience with an order recently. Ordered stuff showing in stock. A week went buy I checked in they explained some things were back ordered. I asked if I could get the back orders items swapped out for ones in stock. They said it was fine and I would receive email confirmation -nope I asked after another day passed they were sure what I was talking about but seemed to figure it out after some time shipped that day. They just seemed stressed out out hopped up on coffee. I ended up shorted 25 bucks but after the drawn out processes I said F it lesson learned. 
like I said it’s like it’s not the same people running the show as was a year ago

my past experiences were top notch! this time I felt like it annoyed them to deal with me. And unfortunately it seems that I’ve been reading more and more bad experiences on here lately

Got my new replacement barrel kit today, fast shipping, I didn't even know it was shipped.

This kit is what I expected in the first place, thanks Utaw but you guy's owe me a big appology, the first kit was definitely used and damaged, I don't know what y'all did, but to blame on me is unforgivable. I'm a man standing tall and would accept your apology and forgive and forget upon your apology and do business in the future, if not we will part ways forever.

I had a similar experience....When I contacted them about an air leak in a Dreamline I purchased their first comment was "We will know if you had the gun apart and will charge you." 

I get that a lot of guys screw things up then play the warranty game but to include that statement in your response to a customer before even seeing the issue.....A bit heavy handed.
