My Brocock Compatto won’t cock and safety fails to engage

Okay, I have had my Brocock Compatto a monthish and this evening I noticed the safety failed to engage. And now it won’t cock, meaning when I pull the action it won’t charge and thus fire. So now it is a stick. I have emailed the dealer and asked when I can bring it in, and this sucks, because next weekend get to go to an HFT event.

Any comments on what might bring wrong with the gun? :( :(

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The dealer wrote me today and said bring the gun in and hopefully can they fix it on the spot. Keeping fingers crossed. I tried the trigger adjustments and it didn’t seem to help the cocking mechanism. But even if the cocking lever is working having a safety not working on a gun for me is unacceptable and must be repaired.

They are interconnected. If I hold my compatto trigger in the position where the gun fires and hold it there and try to put the safety on, it will not. It will only go to safe once I let the trigger go. It's designed this way.

It's in .22, if I had to compare and contrast them, I think it's just a bit heavier than the Commander Hi-Lite but I do like it. It's not "mine" the Commander is "mine" and the Concept Lite is for my two older daughters -- 12 and 14, they prefer it over the Commander. I've been really happy with it we're plinking with 14.3 CPDs. They're both non-XR so I think the larger bolt handle and the shorter-ish stock/profile works better for my girls than the fuller-length Commander.

I've had zero problems out of either rifle except the Commander; I was discharging it into the ground straight up and down and the safety ball-bearing detent fell out. It wan't hard to put it back in I just removed the stock and trigger assembly and I was done. I was worried about flying parts and springs but it ended up being super easy.

I've got a Koi on the Commander and a Sumo on the Concept Lite. I think the Concept Lite is a bit quieter honestly. They're both super accurate and my 14 year old can legitimately out shoot me which is all a dad could ask for :)
