My brand new Leshiy has a (slow) leak

It's funny you mention that, because mine leaked through the gauge as well. I replaced it with the mechanical one, and while it holds the air, the needle doesn't work, so I have no idea where the pressure is sitting. I did buy a spare electric gauge but have yet to fit it----not looking forward to bleeding it and hand pumping back to full pressure.

mine leaked through the electronic gauge around the lens when I received it. I replaced it with a mechanical gauge. BY the way, I'm still waiting to hear from edgun west about a replacement air tube for my leshiy???? Incase anyones listening.

Whats wrong with your air tube? I just ordered a Leshiy from him that is why i ask. I got a Lelya from him and LOVE IT.

the Delrin washer is probably blocking the air flow...just my guess

Not sure why but it has a groove wore in it where the oring sits from my Huma reg. It was fine for about six months but the huma is a two piece reg/plenum and the reg can move separately. It keeps blowing the reg oring now after a fill or two.

I prefer to leave my stuff STOCK for this main reason. Hopefully he sends you a new one soon.

My Leshiy was leaking from underneath the gauge. When I took the gauge out the o-ring under it sits in a recess and was hardened. You barely see it in there. I used an o-ring pick to carefully break it apart and remove it. Replaced it with a new o-ring, which is a 5 x 2.5mm, and it's good as new. If it still would have been leaking after replacing that o-ring I would have replaced the gauge itself. I had already replaced the fill port o-ring.

An easy way to see if it's leaking from the gauge is to loosen the buttstock screw and slide it down a little. Then put a latex glove over the gauge and around the air tube not covering the fill port. Put some tight rubber bands around it and see if it fills up over time. This could be pretty quick for you to notice air filling the glove or take overnight depending on how fast the leak is. If you get no leak from there you can move the glove and rubber bands up the tube to cover the fill port and then see if you have leak from there. Just make sure the rubber bands are tight.

This is in no way a knock on the Leshiy, it's been solid for about two years and I probably left it sitting too long at that.

Me too, I miss shooting it. Brian said there is a new reg for the leshiy. I'm patiently waiting since November for the parts or a call or returned email to get the parts.😴
