My best group at 104 yards so far...

I shot half a dozen five shot groups, playing a little game and chasing a ranking that is but bragging rights. My groups ran from this one at 1-1/2” to 2” ctc. Am really liking lobbing them out there, the slightest breeze or error in follow through and the groups really open up.

You may want to experiment shooting Crosman and Benjamin pellets. I have a professionally tuned 22 Compatto that shoots 14.3gr Wal-Mart Crosman Premier Hollowpoints CPHP nickle sized groups at 80 yards consistently. The Benjamin Discovery labeled variants do well too and the pointeds in the 175 count tin worth trying and so are the Barracuda 21gr. They seem to shoot more accurately than the JSBs at that distance in my Brocock. I haven't tried 100 yards yet. YO!

I recently set up a 100 yard target station in my yard so I could have more opportunities to target shoot at this distance. Whereas before 66 yards was my furthest target station. I’ve tried the Crosman HPs in my Compatto and Bantam they can shoot well, but there’s always the unexplained flyers, on targets from 25 to 50 yards. The JSBs have proven consistently accurate, on paper, plinking and on pest. Yesterday I killed a pigeon with a JSB18 at 100 yards witnessed by two other people. The Crosman Premiers have been solid out to 66 yards for me.
