My back yard 25 yard range

I have a 25 yard range that I built in my back yard. I bought a cheap plastic garden shed and built shelves inside and put my custom pellet trap inside. I built a cover that fits over the doors and holds them open . If you are behind or on the side you can't hear the pellets hit. When I'm done I close it up and it is just a garden shed.

I shoot from inside of my cleaning shed. I have a bench against the wall and open the window and shoot from inside there is no noise and no one can see me. This is very important as I have a hill behind my house on my property and there is a pathway on top that belongs to a school and people walk it once in awhile. I don't want any one to see me and have a fit.

This is the view from inside of the shed.

Anyone else have a hidden range or any ideas how to set one up ?

I’m in building stages of my backyard 33 yard range I don’t need to be as hidden as your build I’m just making a 2’x3’ target backstop in one spot and on the opposite side of yard will be my shooting bench. Hopefully it will ready in a week. Luckily I have 85’ of woods behind my house and my neighbors so far haven’t been a problem.

Very nice! I love the secret range. The neighbors will never suspect a thing. Good job!

I’m right out in the open when I shoot. The neighbors think I’m crazy and avoid me at all costs... just kidding. They know that we are out there and they don’t mind. Pretty cool actually. I am concerned about who might move in after the neighbors sell. I am surrounded by retired people and in their 70s and 80s. Things could change real soon so I have a plan to make a shooting window out of my shop someday. It will nice when it’s cold and wet out too. If it’s wet out now I shoot from under my carport into a pellet trap in the shop. My shooting window will be a better setup because when it’s cold out, I’ll be better protected from the cold and wind.

here is the set up we did today....

Saltlake: the blue thing under the stock is medical lab stand table scissor lift. On the backside there is a knob and you turn it and raise the table or lower the table. Labs use them to put beakers on . We use them for cheap rear stock height adjustments. They come is all sizes and run from twenty dollars up. They have them on Amazon. They are real handy at the range and can stop a lot of stock movement when you shoot and are very easy to use.

Outstanding setups guys! I'm impressed!

Back at my folks house where I grew up, I used to shoot out of their kitchen or out of my mini-shop.
It was great. 50-75 yards to play with at least. I just had to be careful because it was next to a park and within city limits..

Now a days, I'm stuck in an apartment with absolutely no back yard, and a main street out front..
Normally, that'd be a total buzzkill, but nope.. I most certainly improvised! 10 Meter Indoor 'Range'!
