From a gun you will not see, will come a shot you will not hear...

I like it! Nice job, there! Quick question: What ammo are you using and what kind of groups are you getting? I'm still having trouble getting mine to group good enough to hunt with confidence. Sucker is a beast to carry and to cock. It's a love-hate relationship that I have with it, but the love balances out the hate.

Have to use the Hatsan 168 grain pellets. Gun is heavy but I shoot it out of a deer stand or off a tripod rest (both for pigs only).

Thanks! Heavy is an understatement. If the Army had it, it would be a crew-served weapon. If I can get it to group well, then it will be my hog gun. I will give the Hatsan 168 grain pellets a try.

I like your temerity for boldly attempted something like this, let alone the fact that you did such a great job! You may have done too good of a job though...can you imagine setting this gun down in the woods and turning away to relieve yourself and then turning back only to realize your gun disappeared on you? Crashing around through the brush looking for it? But seriously, a very nice job indeed!

All the best, Chuck
