My 3D printed Pellet Carrier.

I actually got the idea a few months ago when I was using my Thermos Flask to pour my coffee one day out in the field.

I was pouring my coffee with my wide mouth thermos flask and I thought to myself I wonder if a tin of pellets would fit in there as the thermos looked very close to the same size as a tin of JSB’s.

it looked like it would be good protection for a stack of tins but when I got home and tried it, no they wouldn’t quite fit. O’Well, I thought, I have a 3D printer so I begin to design a pellet carrier on the comp and this is what I came up with.

I am happy with it. It makes it easier for me to just grab and go with a stack of pellet tins and if I ever drop them I am sure this container would limit the damage.

just thought I’d show anyone who is interested.

Darren.

Really nice job Darren, well done. You selling them? If yes, how much? -Dave

Thanks for the comment Dave. It wasn’t my intention to make them for sale as it took about 14 hours to print! Lol.
I was going to change the design slightly if I print another one out.

I did actually send these pictures to a certain manufacturer but I haven’t heard back from them. Obviously they’re not interested.

I might try another colour for my next one.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

What printer do you use ?

I have two 3D printers. I used my Prusa i3 Mk3 for the above and I also have a Creality Ender 3 Pro.

A lot different in price between the two but both work good.

Are you thinking about buying a printer?

I have two as well. An Ender 3 pro with a glass bed and auto level + several other mods and an X one2. I have never been able to get good prints from the Ender 3. It got me so frustrated that I stopped printing many months ago.
