Every since new my LGV has only shot one pellet, never tried anything different(I think). I usually buy my pellets online but the other day we had gone into town and as I was running low on H&N FTT 14.66 gr I called into the local gun shop and to my surprise they had H&N pellets. My LGV likes the smaller head size but on these tins the shop had covered the codes with there own sticker so I bought 2 tins blind.

These pellets were harder to push in and I was getting a permanent circle ⭕️ on my pinky. Accuracy wasn’t as good as before and sometimes the pellet skirts were clipped when I closed the barrel. Obviously these were a different size. So I rummaged through my limited pellet supply and found a tin of H&N Barracuda Green 9.65gr. These were left over when I found heavier Greens for my Hw77. The first thing I noticed that the pellet hit the target sooner and harder. I was used to the loopy trajectory with the FTT’s, past 25 metres every 5 metre increment was half a mil dot. After 6 or 7 shots the lighter greens started to group, 5 shot hole no bigger than my little (chewed) fingernail. I found that the heavier Greens were not as accurate as the lighter ones in the LGV.

At 25 metres the pellets would penetrate 65 pages of a 186 page telephone book (not a lot of people live around me). The FTT would only penetrate to 49. My Hw77 must be more powerful as at the same distance would pass through the book.

The first photo is at 30 metres, poa centre of o in cola, can filled with water. Second photo 35 metres, poa centre of o in coca. Only slight drop. In summing up this long winded story these pellets in my LGV have a very flat trajectory are are very accurate. Give some a go.
