I will indeed! When I get enough money in my Paypal account, I'll get a Deluxe Caldwell G2 kit and resume testing on all the rifles. Trying to find a hookup for hunting so I can get out and film some hunts. Have a dire need to get out there again! I also have a couple more seal/assembly kits for a couple more of the vintage rifles, and plenty of Perma-Blue as well. Lots more restomods in store!

Here's a pic of the 761XL with an older Centerpoint 3-9x32 scope From my spare parts installed with Centerpoint high-rise sight throughs. The Nevr-Dull dried to a haze finally, so I buffed the brass again to a high luster. Looks a might better, but a lot of brass scratched, pitted & worn off just the same...



And being built in March 1976, it has the fancier outlined receiver halves & logo flourish of the earlier versions. Later versions lost all the engraving details. Here's the sellers close-up;

It will work better and look beautiful again. We have the technology. We have the parts and the skills to re-create a classic!

Looking at this picture of my Crosman's from the 70's, It looks like the butt stock on the 761XL doesn't match the fore stock?



Like the fore stock is a lot like Minwax #231, Gunstock. And the butt stock matches the stain used on the model 70 to the left? The stock came loose in the package from the rest of the rifle, so it may likely be another 761 butt stock? But not the original to this one? May have to mix up some stain to match the fore stock? Minwax numbers 231, Gunstock, and 224, Special Walnut? A little walnut to a lot of gunstock, looks to be?

Really? I hardly got any views of my video adventures of Sam, the tuxedo cat? He's smart and quick. He hears me turn on the camera and stops what he's doing. smart a**. I've been trying to catch him springing straight up at flies, etc like Bruce Lee. My middle son can do his fight vocals, so I want to combine the two. Sort of like, " Enter the Cat". Very alert & quick minded cat. I like when he's playing with boxes and such, then I like to do Yosemite Sam's voice! I look at your channel on Youtube and Netflix. Interesting stuff! I'm supposed to get another vintage rifle delivered today...but still in transit. Darn 2-day pony Express turning into 3-5 days maybe this week delivery. I know it's dark and rainy, but dang...

I definitely need another 5-gun rack, but I don't know if I can wait until Christmas? The Crosman collection is spilling out onto the bottling table in front of the first 5-gun rack...
