I didn't see any other answers to your questions so I had a look at Nova Liberty. 

The front sling post on the Liberty appears to be the standard stud that is screwed into the stock. I think what you might be looking for is a picatinny accessory rail that will go here. You can get picatinny rail sections that will actually mount to a sling swivel stud directly. However, looking at the shape of the stock, the surface at the sling stud is not parallel to the barrel. Trying to mount and align a laser here would be problematic without some special taper adapter and adjustment.

Thank you for taking a look at your Liberty on how I can go about doing this.

Great observation noticing the shape of the stock, the surface at the sling stud not being parallel to the barrel. Will have to do some creative thinking to

get around this. Some form of taper adapter might do the trick.

I did look into the use of a picatinny rail section but noting grabbed my attention at least on the first look 'C'. Will look again.
