Mounting Lights to P-Rod

Last night it went off and I ran to my "blind" (a window in my cantilever porch). Feasting on my bait station was possibly the biggest coon I've ever laid eyes on. Significantly larger than a house cat I had to do a double-take to ensure it was what I thought it was. No joke. This thing was so big I could've put a saddle on it and let my kid ride it in a Christmas Day Parade. Part of the problem was I couldn't find my good flashlight. I'm an EDC geek and have lots of torches laying around. Most are AA or 18xxx sized. I fumbled around at 2am and grabbed a light that was woefully insufficient for this use. After spending a few minutes ranging and determining the species of this monstrosity I took a shot at it. First shot at a live target with my brand new P-Rod I might add.

I missed

How I missed a raccoon the size of a baby pachyderm I can only speculate. At this time I'm blaming it on my light. AA sized low-lumen light just wasn't enough. Especially holding the light in my left hand and shooting with the right.

I'm looking for suggestions for scope/tube flashlight mounts for a 1322 and/or p-rod. I see them all the time on guys rigs but when describing the specs, most leave out their light info

Wiring the bait station with a motion activated light is a possibility, but that would be a project for next spring.

The P-Rod I wish to mount this to is pretty much stock, minus the TKO I'm waiting on. The 1322 heavily modded, including a barrel spacer also with a TKO.

Thoughts, suggestions, ideas?

Thanks in advance

2 quick ways come to mind get scope rings with the weaver top mounts. They are offered thru optics planet as just the top piece for UTG mounts.Hawke offers a bubble pack with plain tops and a 3 and 4 slot top with a 3 screw ring. The Med UTG is a much higher mount than the med Hawke If you can attach a small section of weaver/picatinney rail to the front you can use a UTG quick lever mount that wraps around many cheap 1" flashlights. With the wicked lights 402Z they have a mount that will work and is adjustable for angle and windage. They are tough to kill, I had good results under 10 yds with a 23 FPE Disco under perfect conditions
