cheap beans! 
I wanted to add to this tread that I see now that amazon has lowered the price on these Vortex 30 caliber pellets to $12/tin. Last Xmas when I bought them they were the typical $14+ a tin. So, in a pinch, if field supply has no sale on these and you have to have these magic beans, Amazon is the next best price, with free shipping to prime members.

I tried some of the .22 and .25 beans. I gotta say, I am not whelmed.
.25 Mrod likes the AA diabolos, one hole at 40 yards. Hatsan Vortex more than 1.2" spread.
.22 Kral sends the little pellets supersonic until I cut power by more than half. Even then the groups are erratic and over an 1.5". The Kral likes the Seneca 28.5 dome pellet sooo much there is no point in trying new pellets.
Anyone interested in some lightly used pellets?

Yeah, I don’t try the vortex in any other calibers but my 30’s. Only reason is if a hollow point style of pellet is manufactured I’ll do everything I can to make those work in my guns. Fortunately, I’ve been lucky and never had to buy sample packs or have tins upon tins of non favored pellets. All my break barrels and the 22 PRod and 25 Mrod all like H&N barracuda hunter extremes and H&N Crow Magnums.
Ive said it before, and I’ll say it again- I sure wish these pellet manufacturers would start making hollow points or criss crossed expanding head pellets in a 30 cal, at the weights of 45-55 grainers.
