More “targets of opportunity.”

I like your target stands. Started doing the same with project scrap years ago. Just took this picture but most of the stands are 6-8 years old. I hang paper targets rather than the spinners now. I keep bending the screws on spinners like those, but I get carried away with what I shoot them with so that's my fault. 

 

Nice and functional. I use 5/16” 4.5” lag screws set deep into the 4”x4” posts so even shooting my .25 RAW I don’t have much issue with bending the screws.

Yeah, I need to get better spinners next time. There isn't enough metal left to drill the holes out for a screw that big. I mainly use my stands when I'm shooting 'FT" style at 10-25 yards with a .177 now. The spinners I have would work fine for that (as would the screws that fit), but as I mentioned... I get carried away and if I pull a higher power .22 or .25 out while the targets are still set out... I just can't help myself. Not visible in the pic but 2 of those still have spinners mounted, but the screws are so bent they are not useable. My fault!
