More barrel problems with SK-19 GRRR...

Original .22 barrel was bad near the crown really ugly. So dealer sent another but somehow USPS thrashed it and damaged the entrance to the chamber. Probly broke the package open and dropped it on the concrete. So dealer sent a third and I can't get it to fit in the gun seems to be too large in diameter. Anyone have one they can measure for me so I can figure this out?

I would have been nice if USPS had not thrashed the one but yes this is getting kind of ridicules. I would probly be upset but pretty much 25- 50%+ of what I buy is like this no matter the cost so I know I am going to have to deal with defects with many of my purchases. It's sad but my Impact, SK-19, second Yong Heng, UTG Accushot scope, Hawke scope, Falcon Menace scope, all defective and on and on. I kind of expect this from China but am learning that everybody is slipping in the QC area these days. I just try to get things to werq anyway I can now so I don't have to send them back again and again and... From what I hear from others I am not the only one dealing with this sort of abuse.

Speaking of FX I have been waiting for my 30cal probe, with the tiny $8 set screw, for over three months now and this is not the first time I have waited that many months for parts. But they usually manage to get it together eventually, after a couple of e-mails, and I get what I ordered.

Bio I feel for you sorry to hear your bad luck maybe try a LOTTO TICKET lol . I think when they send barrels they should come in those very thick cardboard tube's that don't bend even if you ran over them in a truck ! Remember the one's with the plastic plugs all taped up on the ends. My edgun barrel came last week in a rectangle box it fit corner to corner wrapped in bubble wrap it did make in one piece though.

Yes, my barrel was shipped in a halfway heavy cardboard tube USPS broke it in pieces. The next one was sent in a thick cardboard tube, with wood stapled in the ends, that you could drive over in a truck and then that was put in a heavy box and it got here in good order. Too bad I can't get it on my gun.

The taped end was broken completely off.

🙈🙈🤤 nightmare!

well the forth time will be the, oh wait that was third time, charm

i would send the whole mess back and end the misery, another barrel is just another crap shoot and hell even if you fix the last barrel is it any good

I thought about sending it back but the last barrel looks like a nice one for sure. If I can only get it in my gun. I really want to shoot this thing some more.

I have the .22 sk-19

My OD where it meets the first clamp is 16mm

So it is 16mm on the money? Mine is 16.09mm so yes near .004in larger and probly why it fits so tight I am only able to get it part way into the gun. I'm done dealing with this. There is a gun shop, with a lathe, a few blocks down the road I will have them turn it down so it will fit properly. Hope it shoots good cuz there goes my warranty.

took a few more readings.... my digital caliper isn't so good.

16.05 is some areas and 16.12 in a few others.

Im sure youd did but I have to ask, Did you loosen the clamps to slide the barrel in?

Mine is very tight when I removed it.

Clamps are a loose as I can make them without taking them all of the way out.

I'd check with whomever you got the barrel from, before you have it machined. What does the old barrel measure? .004 ain't much.

Barrel came from LCS this is barrel number three so I want it in my gun. Think I'll wait for a couple more to chime in with their measurements before I do this though.
